Middle Piney Lake Campground is located on beautiful Middle Piney Lake, and is a no fee camp site. There is a vault toilet that is cleaned and maintained regularly, but no trash or water services. This is a pack-in/pack-out site. Enjoy a spectacular view of the lake and great fishing. There is a boat ramp at the lake, but Wyoming Game and Fish regulations allow non-motorized and electric powered boats on the lake. The trailhead to access the Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail and Wyoming Peak are located at this campground; and visitors are a short drive away from the North Piney Lake ATV trail to the north and the historic Lander Cutoff of the Oregon Trail to the south.
