    Ok

This is a very nice campground with lots of greenery. There are mostly RV spots with 8 tent sites available. Prices are ok for tent camping $28/ site. It’s a family friendly campground with close proximity to the beach and a descent bathroom and shower.

    Great everything

Tent camped here twice, very secluded tent sites. Can be windy. Took my 35' trailer here recently. Love the camp host, find your site let me know what you chose or don't I'll figure it out. Saw a BIG FOOT here. No kidding got video too. Rv sites are big enough, water & power at site. Some pull through sites with less privacy but closer to beach. No website so call to reserve. Because no web reservation it's often not full when others are. Wife says it's her favorite site in wa.

    Cape Disappointment State Park Campground

    This place has it all

Cape Disappointment is a great spot for campers of all kinds. There are RV hook ups, tent sites, hiker/ biker spots, cabins, and yurts. Very easy access to the water as well.

The yurts are your basic state park round dome with sleeping arrangements for up to 5 people. It has a table, chairs, and indoor heat.

Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There is a park store that has basic essentials and the ability to buy wood.

During the spring, the wind can be pretty intense so beware if you are tent camping.

    Nice secluded campsites

These sites are nice and secluded. Most are like little wooded coves. The tent sites were small, but good for a 4-6 persom tent. The restrooms are clean and have showers. The city of Westport was charming and not a far drive.

    Meh

The layout of this campground packs sites too close together. It feels more like tailgating in a parking lot than camping. Other than that, this park is pretty great. It's a very short walk to the beach and a stone's throw from Westport. It's even got some decent trails for hiking around a bit. The bathrooms are pretty standard fare for state Park bathrooms, however, the free showers were a great plus.

    Nice Spot

Nice little spot. Free hot showers. $20 for a tent site. Some of the tent sites to choose from were really small or not level but we got lucky with what we thought was the best site (B-10)

    Clean, family friendly beach camping

We took our small children to Twin Harbors and found it to be a nice escape from the heat. It was nice to see the park rangers continuously coming through picking up trash and checking in on campers if needed. Quiet campground which was a relief after reading other reviews. Clean bathrooms and well stocked considering the campground was full. A nice walk to the beach where we were able to collect lots of sand dollars. The camp is just a short drive from Westport, a cute charter town. When we arrived the check in hostess was extremely friendly and made the start of our experience a memorable one.

    Pretty and nice, but small

Great little campsite with I think 5 tent sites. Looks like it fills up pretty quickly and doesn’t take reservations so get there early! $25 fee always seems a bit ridiculous for a tent site but happy to pay it for the pleasant night’s stay. Was very quiet when we arrived at 8pm.

    Sites well-maintained

Sites are well maintained. The tent sites are not drive up, however they could have easily made this possibly, it just makes camping more inconvenient if you are not intending to backpack/hike to your site. The spigot could have easily been placed closer to the sites as well, but is at the parking area a small hike up the hill from the tent sites. The tent sites have wooden platforms which is nice as far as flat surface goes, however wood is harder than the ground would be, so camping pads/air mattresses etc are definitely necessary. Amenities are well-maintained and included in the cost of your site which is nice.

    Clam digging camping!

We’ve stayed here many times and if you’re planning to fish, crab, or dig clams at the coast this is the best place! They have a wonderful cleaning station, clean hot showers and RV and tent sites as well as a few small cabins. The tent sites are all on grass and back up to a stream. They even have a little camp store where we bought flour and seasonings to fry our clams at camp!

Found this camping spot on a busy holiday weekend. Hardly anyone here. Good for us! Prices are great. $30 + for full hook. $20 for just parking two vehicles. A campervan and a tent. Camped in B-10, right by cliff area and the ocean. Would stay here again.

    Better for tents

We took the family to Twin Harbors during Westport’s Pirate festival. The festival was fun, the RV campground was not awesome though. First, it’s pretty tightly packed in. Even sitting at your picnic table feels like you’re intruding in your neighbors. Some folks had an RV or trailer and a tent and there was literally zero other space, it was hard to tel where one site ended and the other began. Fire pits are elevated grills at many sites, which I’m not a fan of. Additionally, we had to run to town because the water and power hookups are ridiculously far away from where they sit on anyone’s trailer or RV. And you have to cross a highway to get to the beach. Tents, though: sites looked better, bigger, more divided. Also they’re on the other side of the highway so beach access is easier. We decided that if we do return we’ll dry camp in our little trailer at the tent sites and feel Better about our trip.

I had a great stay at the KOA! Even though the weather was a little rainy, i was tent camping, i enjoyed this campround. All the little details they put up all arround the campground made me smile every time i passed them. One of my favourite photos of my six months travel photography trip i took there. OMG, how could you possibly go wrong?

By far, the most excellent Oregon coast campground. You really couldn't ask for more. Absolutely excellent facilities; flush toilets, hot showers, 7 miles of bicycle trails, geocaching, hiking, razor claiming, beach combing. Have both RVd and tent camped here since 2004. Zero complaints! Yurts, cabins, tent and RV sites. It's absolutely huge. The beach, a large beautiful lake stocked with trout, hiking. You really can't go wrong. Highly recommend Fort stevens.

    Amazing Experience

Absolutely incredible experience at Fort Stevens State Park. Huge state park with over 300 different pitches for tents, RVs etc. We were there on a friday night and it was super busy, but we still felt like we had some privacy with our tent site. The showers and bathrooms were very nice and clean, and was nice to have a hot shower after a long day. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the beach which was about a mile walk from where our tent was pitched. Would highly recommend. After camping for 7 nights throughout Washington, Oregon and California, this was by far our favourite.
