Convenient and Beautiful

I just can’t say enough about this campsite. I wound up staying here 4 to 5 days at a time over the course of two months because I loved it so much. It’s private. The spaces allow you to have a certain level of intimacy. They have bathrooms, water, and gray water dump, the host Marissa is just a complete awesome doll. It’s convenient to drive into because it’s right off the highway and about five minutes or so is the town of Skykomish with an incredible deli library a laundromat and a coffee shop I hope to visit here many more times, but I absolutely love it. Oh and cell reception is pretty good. Best we stayed at. For both Google Fi and, Verizon.

Come on ride the train.....

Oh my. Location and sites are great. River access, really beautiful.

Party central as campers must feel the road and train noise drown them out?

If you are going to camp here...choose the river side of camp. The wooded side is miserable...you basically will feel like a train is headed right through your camp every few hours...especially awesome for that good night's sleep!!

Cell service spotty at best.

All that being said if you are on your way through, or looking to access local trails and no other options..it will work.

Camp near the road and train

It’s camping, but it’s not peaceful. There’s a lot of folks that come out here to party hard. Roads nearby make for loud noise constantly. If you’re looking for a place to party, this might be a good call. I would not recommend coming here if you’re looking for tranquility by the river.

Easy Camping Loud Road

This place is easy to get to and by a great river, but the road can be loud and it seems like rowdy campers like to stay here too.

Beautiful Woods

Lovely, spacious sites. Clean toilets, friendly camp hosts. Nearby Bridal Falls a great hike. The only tricky part is the proximity to Hwy 2 and the train tracks.

Money Creek

Money Creek is a great place for easy and new campers. It’s not a long drive from the city of Seattle. You have the river to play with in the hot summer days and have enough room to play around your site. It’s pretty noisy though with the river flowing and cars constantly going through the tunnel near by and even sometimes honking.

One of my favorite places

Near enough to Seattle, but feels far away. Yes, there are trains, reserve away from the sites closest to the tracks if that bothers you. Personally, like the trains, and if you stay right on the river, it drowns out some of the sound.
