Camped here in college and love it! Can’t wait to get back and do some climbing and hiking!
We loved our stay here. It was quiet and peaceful. Would definitely drop by here again on our next cross country road trip.
National Park camping is so special, and luckily I have a friend who’s good at helping me to remember to reserve sites in January. This campground was lovely and it’s perfect for exploring the park. Stay here if you can get a site.
This creek is what beautiful mountain dreams are made of! Been here a few times and loved it! Close to Leavenworth and so far away at the same time. Beautiful hiking! We’ll be back again and again.
We loved this place! Great access to the Hood Canal and fun hiking. The site was quiet and lovely. And there was delicious oysters down the road!
Go here when Seattle is cold! We liked camping here and had a lot of fun at Lake Chelan even though it’s a bit “spring break-y”
We liked camping here but the road can be loud. The lake is gorgeous but very windy! It’s great for a night!
This place is easy to get to and by a great river, but the road can be loud and it seems like rowdy campers like to stay here too.
We loved camping here. We had a beautiful site tucked in the woods that was very quiet. The beach across the street was really fun for kids and adults and there was loads of lovely hikes nearby.
Diablo lake is one of the most stunning sites my eyes have feasted on! We love this campsite. We’ve done first come first serve here, but I think that there are reservable sites too. The hiking, the swimming, the drive in! This place is truly magnificent and magical.
We love it here. Gorgeous views and fires on the beach. Reserve early and know that even in July it will be chilly, but we love it here even when it’s cold.
Beautiful campsites close to the beach. Ask for one of the sites across from the beach we loved 43! We had a camper van and tent camping would have also been wonderful. The private beach was beautiful.
Several of the employees were very kind and helpful, but there was this very grumpy man that I spoke with on the phone and also met in person who was the worst. When I asked about reserving a site he said “good luck with that” we are very busy this week…turns out they had sites available after further investigation when we arrived and asked him to change to one of the beach sites we’d asked for he said it was impossible, luckily the lovely woman in their office helped us out.
Luckily all the other employees were kind and helpful and not at all grumpy.
Also the port-a-potty’s did not get cleaned the 3 nights we were there, there were the same menstral pads in the urinal all three days and dwindling wet tp. For as expensive as it is, $45 a night for bit of grass I’d expect a little better. And it wasn’t so busy that it would have taken more than a 5 minute tidy each day.
But the view of the beach was worth the money for us with so many public campgrounds closed.
