Just ‘ight

The campsite was ok. I get the bathrooms were in the woods, but at least make them look ‘clean’ imo. The camp host was also not great. He came around at dark to tell us we couldn’t put our tent there, even tho it was already set up with beds and everything. Had to take it all down to move. The water wasn’t on at our campsite, so we had to walk down the road to get water.

Nice fall colors

Nice campground in Utah County.  Not far from town and any services that could be needed.  Lots of hiking available, although a bit rocky and steep for my old knees.

Campsites are concrete with tables and firepits, very clean.  Pit toilets are well maintained.

Clean and shady campground

Campground was literally one of the cleanest I've been to this year. Pit toilets were well maintained as was campsite. Every site had shade with concrete parking and fire pit. Great place for families. The mountain road ends at the camp so traffic is only of campers coming and going therefore quiet at night. Since large families do tend to camp there, not so great for those looking for quiet solitude. Oh, and the camp hosts were amazing. Stopped by campsites in the evening offering a little piece of candy. Will stay again but not as a solo camper.

Beautiful lake and great hiking

This campground was awesome! We would definitely come back here. Here are some of the things we loved about staying here:

  • Great hiking- the hiking around this area was amazing. We absolutely enjoyed these trails. We did a hike that about 10 miles roundtrip with low elevation gain. We also did a hike that was 5 miles round trip, and 4 miles round trip. The views were incredible.
  • Big campsite spaces- Loved that the spaces were big enough to fit our truck and 2 tents
  • Shaded campsites- We really liked that there were tons of trees within the campground. This provided us with shade as well as a place to hang our hammocks
  • Clean

Some things we didnt really like were:

  • Only 1 bathroom
  • No water available
  • The road was a little difficult to find

All in all we absolutely loved it here and would could back. We wish we could have stayed longer. Next time we come we are bringing our family and staying longer.
