Willow Flat is a popular campground, located on the banks of the Cub River, in southeastern Idaho. It sits in a pretty valley, surrounded by scenic mountain views, at an elevation of 6,300 feet. Visitors enjoy fishing the river and exploring numerous forested trails.
The Cub River provides great fishing for wild cutthroat and hatchery rainbow trout. Numerous trails begin within the campground, including a 1/2-mile nature trail to Sam Parkinson Spring. The multi-use Cub River Trail also begins at the campground, offering great hiking, mountain and dirt biking, as well as off-road vehicle and horseback riding. The trail accesses the Highline Trail, the North Fork of St. Charles Creek and the Cub River Guard Station.
A mixed forest of pines, spruce and hardwoods provides partial shade and beautiful scenery. The banks of the Cub River are lined with dense stands of willow, a favorite food of local moose. Deer and elk are often seen in the area as well.

Tony Grove Campground is situated on the mountainside above beautiful Tony Grove Lake, about 19 miles east of Logan, Utah, at an elevation of 8,100 feet. This scenic area is known for its vivid summer wildflowers and excellent trails.
Tony Grove Lake is less than a half-mile from the campground. It provides great fishing and canoeing opportunities. A self-guided nature trail circles the lake. Numerous additional hiking trails set off from the day-use site at the lake, accessing the Mount Naomi Wilderness. The popular 4.5-mile White Pine Lake Trail begins here as well.
A colorful profusion of geraniums, paintbrush, columbine, lupine, daisies and mountain sunflowers stretches across the meadows and throughout the campground from approximately mid-July through mid-August. Engelmann spruce, white pines and aspens forest the site, offering plentiful shade.

Bridger Campground is situated next to the Logan River just 6 miles east of Logan, Utah. The campground sits at an elevation of 5,000 feet in scenic Logan Canyon.
The Logan River offers great fishing, tubing and canoeing opportunities. Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails crisscross the area. Spring Hollow, Mill Hollow, Crimson and Bridger Lookout Trails can be accessed from trailheads within the Spring Hollow Campground 1.4 miles away.

Logan Canyon Scenic Byway, from Logan to Garden City, this byway parallels the Logan River through Logan Canyon, passing through dense forests, lush meadows, rugged rock formations and panoramic views. Each season brings a colorful show, especially in autumn.
Reservation Cancellations & Changes Cancelling a Reservation: Customers may cancel their reservation prior to arrival both on-line and through the call center. A $10 service fee will be withheld from any refund for a cancellation. Depending on when you cancel in relation to your arrival day, it may be considered a late cancellation (see below). Changing an Existing Reservation: When changes are made prior to the cut-off window: If a customer wants to switch dates that are entirely outside of the original reservation dates, there is a $10 change fee. There is no change fee if a customer extends or shortens a reservation, as long as the change includes dates from the original reservation. If they choose to depart early, they may forfeit the recreation fee for the day of departure. There is no change fee if the customer wants to switch sites that are the same price with the same reservation dates in the same facility. If a reservation is made that includes dates beyond the maximum booking window, that reservation cannot be changed until 18 days have passed from the original booking date. If a customer requests a refund for an early departure after the facility check-out time has passed, the customer will not be refunded for that night and is eligible for a refund on any additional nights that will not be used. Bunchgrass yurt is a 16-foot diameter yurt that provides shelter and comfort for non-motorized winter pursuits for up to six people. Sleeping is provided on bunks, equipped with six nice, thick Paco Pads. The yurt is equipped with a wood stove for heat and melting snow for water, a snowmelt pot (only to be used for drinking water), a two burner propane stove for cooking, LED lanterns, and all the utensils, silverware, cookware and crockery needed for your meals. There are drip cones and paper filters for coffee making and to filter snowmelt if so desired. There is ample TP. Paper towels are stocked, but some groups run through rolls in days and may or may not be there. Ample cloth towels are stocked. Private privies are set off from the yurts for nature's call. These pit toilets can be taxed towards the end of the season, so there is a strict policy to not put toilet paper in the privy. Instead, used TP must be placed in paper bags after use (paper bags are provided). At the end of your stay, or as needed, burn the bag in the wood stove (with a small fire, of course). Future guests will appreciate your compliance. And there is ample hand sanitizer.
Utah State University manages a Mongolian-style yurt in the Bear River Range east of Utah State. The yurt is located up Blind Hollow, a short drive from campus up Logan Canyon. The yurt is paid for and maintained with USU student fees which means students get priority access on weekends. This was the first time that we stayed in a yurt, and it is a game changer. It is honestly so nice once in a while to not have to put up camp or break camp. For a nice, glamping getaway this is the place to be. The grounds are beautiful, the host is kind, it is so quiet, and there was a lot of wildlife. I recommend it for those who don't want to miss the comforts that they have at home, or just for those of us who tent camp and want to make is even more special once in a while.
RangerSunrise CG is located right of hwy 89 about 10 minutes west of Garden City. The CG sits above Bear Lake. The sites are pretty spacious, heavily wooded with good shade. There are picnic tables and fire rings at each site. There are 27 sites available. There are no hooks or dump stations. There a vault toilets and no showers. there is drinking wager available. This CG can accommodate walk in tent camping to RVs. You can reserve some sites on rec.gov.
This was a good stop that was convenient on the way through northern Utah. The camp host was awesome and funny.

Conestoga Ranch is a destination that gives luxury a down home feel.
Located in Garden City, Utah on the beautiful Bear Lake Conestoga Ranch offers luxury tents and a chance to stay in a covered wagon.
I stayed in a larger, more luxurious site because my wife and I were on our Anniversary weekend.
The tent had a king bed, shower, and deep claw foot tub. The decor is charmingly rustic with log furnishings and tin and raw pipe for plumbing and accessories, this is all intentional and makes the experience even better.
Onsite, there are clean shower rooms and rest rooms, laundry facilities, an arcade, and a very fine restaurant and lounge.
Upon check in, you park by the office and a attendant takes you and your gear up to your site, later on a fire concierge will come and start your fire as you relax and take in all the beauty around you.
Bear Lake offers so much opportunity for recreation, from boating, to side x side rentals to beaches, mountain biking and some shopping.
This luxury comes at a price...a pretty steep price for camping, rates vary, but staying before memorial day gave us the better rate.
I do think that the price is worth the wonderful experiences that we had at this fun little place.

The Green Canyon yurt it's owned and managed by Powder Ridge ski touring. During the winter months, Powder Ridge manages the Green Canyon Road and grooms it on an almost daily basis. It is groomed for cross-country skiing with the designated track on one side. You can also Snowshoe, or ride your bike with fat tires up if your adventurous! The trail is approximately 3.8 miles long with a steady incline most of the way. There are a few spots with decent little Hills.
The yurt itself can sleep 12, on four twin over full bunk beds. There's a cooking area, table, pots and pans, and of course a pot belly stove to keep it nice and warm. I had the opportunity to Snowshoe up with a friend after Christmas 2016, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The folks at Powder Ridge were great to work with.
I will say if you Snowshoe up, please don't do what we did and make sure to avoid the established cross country ski track. As it was our first time snowshoeing up there, we didn't know and ended up ruining it in a few places. They were able to fix it easily that night, but had we been paying attention they would not have had to.
I believe we paid $250 for the night, the pricing may have changed so I would refer you to them for more information in that regard. The cost however, would easily be distributed among 12 friends.

Cold winter months and you need to get away? Wow we rented a cabin three times this last winter. Great little cabins with bathrooms the hot pools were 100 feet away and a heated swimming pool. In the summer time the pool is nice and cold and there are water slides. There is RV and tent sites as well as group sites and 3 small cabins, 3 medium cabins and three large cabins/houses. They also have several yurts. This year they also have covered wagons you can stay in(cute idea on a tent cabin). The staff is friendly and courteous. There is a small cafe and store. There is a restaurant that has a great sirloin dinner if you call ahead to make dinner reservations. Over all a great place to camp summer or winter.

Having grown up in northeastern Utah, at the base of the Uinta Mountains, I’ve done a lot of camping. However, this is now one of my favorite sites. We went as an extended family, but since the group sites were already reserved, we got 5 sites on the south side of the campground. Everyone loved their site, and we can’t wait to get back.

This park is a great stopover on your way through Utah or weekend visit. The lake is clean and still very natural. The swans circling the water are something to see. Lots of shade rustic but serviceable showed. A bit pricy at 30 a night but right off the highway and no real traffic noise.

Absolutely awesome spot. Hosts were really friendly. Stayed in my pop up camper for a night and there was tons of space for pop up and our site (A1) was the best in the campground, I think. It was secluded with tons of trees. Not all sites had a lot of tree cover. It wasn’t right off the river but it was still only a 30 second walk to the river. There were fire bans in Utah but because of the type of fire set up on concrete and built in fire places, we were able to have a fire all night which was awesome. Also my buddy is a professional singer and brought his guitar so I’m impartial. We had such a great time!!

We love this campground! There are a variety of ways to camp here, tent, RV, cabins and the set up allows for privacy. It really feels like a resort. There is an amazing playground for kids, swimming pool, and jumping pillow.
The area is stunningly beautiful and relaxed. The store next to the entrance is amazingly well stocked with all you’d need.
We stayed in an RV supersite that included a private hot tub and BBQ grill.

It’s clean and comfortable, but definitely a busy place. You are right next to your neighbor but they do try and put you in every-other site for space. Great bathroom facilities, dog park, amenities.
It really depends on what you like. We are tent campers that like forest service campgrounds so this is too busy for us. But a nice spot.
ScoutTons to do for the kids. Pancake breakfast was a nice plus for breakfast. Restaurants are close. Marina was close. Lots of activities for all ages. We had a great time. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

ScoutI love this campground we stay here with family every year. Almost all of the sites are nicely shaded and you can buy firewood here for $6. We have no cell service in the campground but you can walk to the road and get service if needed. Behind the bathrooms on the South side there is a little trail with a beautiful view of the lake. If you go exploring behind the East bathrooms you’ll see a little creek. The trails are no longer maintained which is a bummer so be careful.

TravelerWhen my family showed up Friday August 23rd there was no Camp Host. We arrived at 11pm to claim site 6 which I had reserved 5 weeks prior and there was a large family with all their crap all over our site. I spoke to the family and was told they had been given permission by someone who worked there. I went looking for the Camp Host but there was no one around and no contact information was listed in any of the information boards. Rather than get into a fight we camped in the designated Camp Host spot for the night and managed to snag OUR SITE the next day. The family there hadn't even paid a fee as no ticket had been issued for the site. Tthey just stole ours.
Other than that it's a pretty area. There is a very short trail in the back of the campsite between 2 bathrooms where you can see the sun rise over Bear Lake. I'd camp here just for that.
This is my third visit to this campsite- previous 2 visits were in 2017 & 18 and both times the hosts were WONDERFUL and kept guests in check.
This time, the bathrooms were dirty, very smelly and many trees showed signs of people chopping them for firewood so it's probably only a matter of time before someone gets hurt by a tree fall. The Host campsite was out of wood- because there was no one around to provide pest free local wood in a US FOREST CAMPGROUND.
Further down the road in Idaho you can find Porcupine and St Charles which are much less expensive and have a nice little river running through them- go there instead.

GuideSunrise Campground sites are immersed in trees to give you a surrounding cozy and comfortable feeling. Back in sites include a fire ring and sturdy picnic table... Not sure about the pull-thru sites.
For site 15, the sunrise peeked thru the trees into my tent. As I got going, I walked around the park to find a rest area only 0. 5 miles from my campsite (great if you need flushing toilets, running water and a beautiful view of Bear Lake).
Looking forward to a return visit to this campground!

Way fewer people and way more remote than in town camping. Each campsite has a fire pit and a picnic table. There’s our bathroom area as well as water access. Loved how wooded and private it seemed. Short drive into town or access water.
In my opinion, the drive is worth it as this is way more peaceful than any area campground.
ScoutVery nice hosts. Pull ins a bit tight but there are some pull throughs. I’m here in late June and perfect weather. Quite peaceful as not a lot of campers yet.
GuideVery tight to maneuver car or suv, host was meh and rude. Stayed the weekend of July 4th 2021. It was a nice stay, bear lake was about a 10-15 mile drive.
