Our campground is perfectly suited for the young at heart who enjoy late nights around the campfire and ongoing activity. Riverfront sites, lean-to sites, and open field sites available, located within walking distance from Skinner's Falls, a magnet for tubing enthusiasts and launch site for canoers and rafters.
I usually camp here once a year in the summer. This year 2020 I went twice during the week. This camp site is conveniently located by the river. Which is really the only reason it gets 4 stars. Aside from the river trips this camp site has became a go to place for City folk looking to party…And I mean 10+ people, night club music full on parties. Dont expect any peace and quiet camping by the stars like some state/national parks campgrounds. Which is why I choose to go during the week (M-Th). Avoid the summer weekends and holidays at all cost if you are looking for some old school camping. If you dont mind the crowd and everything that comes with it (dirty bathrooms) then have some fun, enjoy the music, alcohol, and most of all; the river.
Beautiful, spacious, waterfront sites available. Lean-to sites also. Love it here, though the staff can be cantankerous and hard to deal with.
Rode out here for an all women biker rally. Was worth the 12 hours in the saddle. Friendly staff, clean facilities and gorgeous views!
