    SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

RV parks near White House include Nashville North KOA in Goodlettsville with 95 full-hookup sites open year-round, and Grand Ole RV Resort & Market offering 30/50 amp service with sewer connections. Both accommodate big rigs on primarily gravel sites. Elm Hill RV Resort provides waterfront access on Percy Priest Lake with boat-in capability alongside traditional drive-in access. Two Rivers Campground features level pull-through and back-in gravel sites with concrete pads for picnic tables. RV sites throughout the region tend to be closely spaced, particularly at Nashville North where the campground layout prioritizes capacity over privacy. "Sites are very close together. Not much room between my rv and neighbor," noted one visitor about Nashville North.

Interstate access makes these parks convenient bases for Nashville exploration, with I-65 providing direct routes to most properties. Several parks offer shuttle services to downtown Nashville attractions, including Two Rivers Campground where visitors can arrange $10 transportation to avoid downtown parking challenges. Dump stations are available at most locations, though Nashville North users mentioned highway noise from nearby roads affecting sleep quality. While pets are allowed at virtually all area RV parks, rules regarding outdoor rugs and stabilizer blocks vary by location. According to one review, "The campground requests that all trailers and RVs use blocks under their stabilizers and not lay down any outdoor rugs to protect the grass." Many campgrounds provide on-site entertainment during summer months, with Grand Ole RV Resort featuring nightly live music performances.

      Cedar Creek (TN)

Not the Best COE We've Stayed At

We stayed one night at Cedar Creek Campground while traveling north and appreciated its location, which allowed us to bypass Nashville traffic by using I-840 and TN-45. We followed the route using RV Trip Wizard and Waze, although Waze wanted to route us through I-40. Coming in from the south, we did not see any brown campground signs until we reached the marina entrance. The final approach travels through a narrow, hilly rural-suburban area before arriving at the campground. Check-in was quick, and we headed to back-in Site 22 with 50/30/20-amp electric and water. Immediately after leaving the check-in station, there is a fairly tight right-hand turn. The attendant specifically warned us to take it wide, explaining they occasionally see larger rigs scrape there. The site length was accurately represented on Recreation.gov and accommodated our 40-foot fifth wheel, although we needed to unhitch to park our F-450 alongside the trailer. Utilities were conveniently located near the middle of the site, water pressure was excellent, and the site included a newer picnic table, fire ring with cooking grate, and lantern post. We received three bars on Verizon and two bars on T-Mobile. Our T-Mobile Home Internet averaged 193 Mbps download and 1.3 Mbps upload. With the heavy tree canopy, Starlink availability will vary considerably by site, and we doubt Site 22 would have provided a usable view of the sky. The campground has two bathhouses, with the newer facility offering individual shower rooms. The older bathhouse had two coin-operated machines, although the dryer was out of service during our stay. The lakeside sites are more generously spaced, while the interior loops connect to one another, making the back sides of the loops feel very close together, with some sites almost sitting on top of each other. Sites 54 and 56B appeared to be among the better choices for larger rigs. Although we didn't use the dump station, it looked manageable for a 40-foot rig despite reviews suggesting otherwise. The biggest consideration is maneuverability. The roads are narrow, several turns are sharp, and there are trees and drainage ditches throughout the campground. We exited without incident, but even on a Thursday with light occupancy, it required careful driving. Had the campground been full with vehicles parked along the roads, navigating a large RV would have been considerably more challenging. Overall, we enjoyed the peaceful Corps of Engineers setting and the opportunity to avoid Nashville traffic, but for our 40-foot fifth wheel, we're not convinced the extra maneuvering required is worth the tradeoff for future overnight stays.

Grand Ole RV Resort & Market

Peaceful, Well-Run RV Park with Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at The Grand O RV Resort! The staff was super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. A man even led us to our site in a golf cart and helped my fiancé back in and park our trailer, which was a huge help.

The campground had a small store with supplies, a restaurant with a menu available (though we cooked our own food), and live music each night while we were there during the summer — a nice touch! There’s a train that passes by on the nearby track a couple of times a day, but it was never super early or late and didn’t bother us at all.

We stayed in the center of the park, which didn’t have much shade, but the outer edge sites seemed more wooded. The roads and campsites are made of small pebbles, which made it easy to drive and back in. It was overall very quiet, and the location is great — just off the interstate, about 10 miles north of Nashville, and roughly 45 minutes from Bowling Green. We visited the National Corvette Museum and Lost River Cave while we were there.

Our site had full hookups (water, sewer, and electric). The bathhouse was clean, air-conditioned, and accessed with a key code — two toilet stalls and three showers for women, all very well maintained. We didn’t use the laundry facility (if there was one), but the Wi-Fi was decent, and T-Mobile cell service worked well, even for using our hotspot. It’s a pet-friendly park (though we didn’t bring pets), and while there’s no pool or playground, there were some nice wooden swings to enjoy.

They also have firewood for sale and a propane filling station on site. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend The Grand O to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and well-located RV park near Nashville!

      Nashville KOA Resort

Nashville KOA is a great place to stay when visiting the Music City.

The campground has a variety of sites from deluxe paved pull through with patios to back-in full hookups to tent sites. We stayed in the back-in sites side of the campground. The sites were close together(but not on-top of each other) and many were long enough to handle most average sized rigs. These sites were gravel with grass between, which was well maintained. 50& 30 amp service available. Very flat with minimal leveling needed. The wifi was spotty when the campground was full on the weekends.

The bathhouses have individual shower access with separate toilet facilities. These were clean and well maintained. The entire campground was very well maintained and landscaped beautifully, which created a welcoming feeling.

There are numerous amenities: pool, hot tub, playground, pickle ball, corn hole, etc. Live music is offered at the pool area a couple nights a week in addition to movies. The camp store is small, with limited selection, but it is attached to a nice size indoor rec room and restaurant/snack bar. A Camping World Store is also right next door to the campground, which is very convenient.

A shuttle service is offered daily from 10:00AM-1:30AM between the KOA and downtown Nashville at the Country Music Hall of Fame. The cost is$10 round trip per person. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any issues and questions. We enjoyed our stay and found the price($68) reasonable for the great location and amenities offered.

      Bowling Green KOA

      Standard KOA/Awesome stay!

This is a typical KOA park but in an awesome area. The only downside is the traffic noise from the highway. It was not audible inside the RV so it wasn’t enough to disturb sleep.

The park has nice long pull through spaces, and quite a few long term residents of the park. They have a very nice dog park with obstacles for them in a central location to be accessed by everyone.

The sites were level and clear of obstacles. They left plenty of space for vehicles and rigs. We had a pull through patio and the space had a giant beautiful tree that was very helpful in the heat.

Equipment is well maintained at this location! Cell service for AT&T and TMobile we’re both excellent.

      Elm Hill RV Resort

      Beautiful location

This park is located on a peninsula on a lake close to Nashville. Almost every site has a view of the water on flat concrete big pads. Some sites, on higher land, are mostly long term residents. Most sites are back in but there are a few pull through. Each site has all hook ups and are very well maintained. The sites are close together but not uncomfortable. There is a camp store at the main office. The pool is very nice and there are games, a playground and a pavilion. There was a band there during my stay. Activities planned throughout the month. It is more expensive than most but the quality of the site is worth it.

      Two Rivers Campground

Nice RV park for visiting Nashville

Helpful staff, gravel level sites with concrete pads that have picnic tables on them. Full hook ups. There is a private bus the staff will call that will come pick you up and take you to downtown and return for $10.00. I took the bus because parking is more expensive than the bus fee. I didn’t use the laundry or showers but they looked nice and clean. Great place to stay while visiting Nashville. They had live bands every night out by the pool area while we were here. Nice place for a private park. I would stay again. Camping world is right next door if you need anything. Back in and pull through sites.

      Two Rivers Campground

      Great CG in Nashville

We spent two nights here (May 24-26, 2022). This is a nice, easy access CG with level pull through and back-in gravel sites in Nashville. It is located within a loop of the Cumberland River, between two RV dealer/repair facilities and surrounded by two RV CGs- it’s a busy area. There are a number of activities available: live music, swimming pool, recreation hall, playground and dog park. We did not make use of the laundry, bathrooms or showers. It is a great base camp to visit the Nashville (Grand Ole Opry) area. The WiFi was great as was cell phone reception. The cable TV worked well. We would stay here again.

      Nashville North

      City Outskirts campground

Nice little spot, freeway right behind the park and can hear cars all day/night. Internet was down when we got here and cell signal is hit and miss on all 3 Carriers (Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile). Delivery of anything is challenging for the drivers for some reason. Overall the facility it self is up-kept and clean. Good place for short term but look for better long term options.

    Guide to White House

RV camping near White House, Tennessee offers convenient options with interstate proximity and a mix of urban and water-based recreational opportunities. Situated between Nashville and the Kentucky border in northern Tennessee, the area experiences hot, humid summers with temperatures typically reaching the 90s and mild winters averaging in the 40s. Most RV sites in the region have gravel surfaces and provide varying degrees of privacy, with some campgrounds offering amenities like live entertainment and waterfront access.

    What to do

Swimming and water recreation: Four Corners RV Resort provides excellent water access with multiple options. "We rented the pontoon and enjoyed the beautiful lake. Highly recommend bringing bug spray for your RV because at night they are all over the door and walls," advises Stephanie R. The resort features a swimming beach and several docks for water activities.

Explore Nashville without parking hassles: Nashville RV and Cabins Resort offers convenient transportation options to downtown. "Has shuttle service to downtown for 10.00 great price. Very friendly staff," notes Kurt S. This eliminates parking concerns when visiting popular Nashville attractions.

Evening entertainment: Grand Ole RV Resort & Market provides regular musical performances. "Live music every night was nice. Backing my trailer is not my strong suite but the guided me through it like it was nothing," shares Ed S. The resort maintains a consistent entertainment schedule, particularly during summer months.

    What campers like

Family-friendly amenities: Four Corners RV Resort offers facilities designed for families. "A nice spot to stay by the water. Safe and friendly neighbors. Good place for kids to bike and play," writes Lexi W. The resort includes concrete pads, full hookups, and recreational facilities.

Waterfront views: Elm Hill RV Resort provides exceptional lakeside camping experiences. "Beautiful and clean..most sites are waterfront and have great sunrise views. The sites are level and have nice firepits," says Chris H. Many campers specifically note the morning views across Percy Priest Lake as a highlight.

Clean facilities: Nashville North KOA maintains well-kept common areas. "Comfortable campsite. Adequate power and water pressure. Swimming pool was very busy and well maintained. Level gravel sites and bath house very clean," reports James R. The campground prioritizes cleanliness across its amenities.

    What you should know

Traffic noise concerns: Interstate proximity means road noise affects some parks. "Noisy due to the highway that runs right on the other side of the tree line. But... the folks running the show are really nice," notes Mary L. about Nashville North KOA. Similarly, at Grand Ole RV Resort, "Trains rolling by at 3 am is not how I like to spend my night," mentions Jeff P.

Site spacing varies significantly: Site spacing can be tight at many parks. "Sites are very close together. Not much room between my rv and neighbor," is a common observation at multiple locations. Consider requesting specific sites when booking if privacy is important.

Seasonal pest considerations: Elm Hill RV Resort and Four Corners RV Resort both report mosquito challenges during warmer months. "We spent a week on a Lakefront site with breathtaking sunrises and sunsets... The only 2 things that need improvement are the beach area, possibly some more sand, and extending the swimming boundary," advises Erich H.

    Tips for camping with families

Pool availability: Nashville RV and Cabins Resort offers family swimming options. "Sites were large with awesome pool and play areas for kiddos," writes Steven F. The pool provides a welcome respite from summer heat when lake swimming isn't preferred.

Playground limitations: While some parks advertise play areas, they may be minimal. At Grand Ole RV Resort, "They show a playset on their map and it was two regular swings and a baby swing. This was disappointing since we had little ones," reports Lacy M. Always confirm specific amenities before booking.

Entertainment for all ages: RJourney Clarksville RV Resort offers balanced amenities. "Amazing gem nestled off I-24. This campground offers almost all pull through sites, with a few being 100 feet long. Nice pool area with a community fire pit, and cool playground," states Lisa S. The campground provides diverse activities for different age groups.

    Tips from RVers

Leveling and hookups: Most area campgrounds provide level sites with functional hookups. "Our site had all hook ups and were very well maintained. The sites are close together but not uncomfortable," notes Stacey about Elm Hill RV Resort. Bringing leveling blocks remains advisable as a precaution.

Big rig accessibility: Grand Ole RV Resort accommodates larger vehicles with assistance. "A man even led us to our site in a golf cart and helped my fiancé back in and park our trailer, which was a huge help," says Randi P. Most parks in the region can accommodate larger RVs but may require guided parking.

Connectivity options: Shady Acres RV Park offers a convenient overnight option with necessary amenities. "This is a perfect spot for passing through town... It was a pull through spot close to the bathrooms. We were able to use just electrical hook up for the night to rest. It's a few minutes off I-40 and lots of gas options close by," explains Laura D.
