Relaxing stay

Friendly host takes you right to your spot and assist in getting in. Nice laundry facilities, pool area looks good. We are here for just overnight stay but would like to stay longer. Overall a good park and would recommend.

Relaxing and beautiful!

We are a family of 4, 2 kids ages 11 and 13. We had a blast! We rented a canoe and 2 kayaks and were transported to Washburn and floated/paddled our way to Sanger boat launch. (Approx 9 miles) It took us about 3 hours and it was so beautiful! The park ranger picked us up at Sanger boat launch and…

Has all the things, but not a destiantion

All the standard KOA amenities, but next to the highway. It’s like a trick stop with a pool. Locking bathrooms at a paid campground was a big turnoff. Decent pool and dog park tho.

Quiet, off the beaten track

This was a quick one night stop for me along the road. It’s very nice and quiet. There is a camp host but I didn’t meet them. Super amazing quick way to pay via a QR code and Apple Pay!! Although, you could do it the old fashioned way as well with a sealed envelope. I stayed at a tent site. They…

Good stopover location

Stopped here for the night on our way to Glacier NP. Easy pull-through off the freeway. The campsite was well arranged - the quick overnights were toward the front for easy access, but the campers staying for a longer time were tucked away in a wooded area.

Great Memorial Day Weekend

Lake Tschida was a great place to spend the long weekend. The campsites were clean and the campground host was friendly. There are a lot of water and other recreational activities, and a good concession stand/ store.

Needs major improvements

I wish I could say it was a good experience but within the first 24 hrs, proved otherwise. Right away I received a call about my dog barking. She is a new mom and very protective, so she alerts us when someone she doesn't know is near or another dog. Never after quiet hours. Her pups play like…

Busy boat launch but friendly and respectful campers

Five primitive campgrounds with wells and vault toilets. The two stars are for how this place is taken care of. Not well kept.

Decent fishing for North Dakota. Try your hand at catching crappie, walleye, catfish, perch, white bass, pike, bluegill, large and smallmouth bass. Bait store nearby!

SO MUCH HISTORY

Cross Ranch State Park, ND

This campground was CROWDED. Every spot was full. That being said it was not loud, just a low mumble :) of fellow campers. The spots, well they were close but situated in a way that you weren’t sitting staring at your neighbor. There were trees and foliage between the…

Great Place!

We stayed here overnight on a long journey & were very impressed with the friendly and clean environment! Nice shrubbery and trees throughout, a pool during the summer season, dog park, and playground. Will definitely be staying here again.

Clean truth here!

The camp around this area is very plain. And when I’m mean plain I mean the GREAAAT Plains! We had a whole bunch of fun learning about the camp and General Custard. There is a bunch of history and many happy faces in this area. Everything you would need here is only a stone throw away. We enjoyed…

Space—-and lots of it!

I throughly enjoyed this park. Very affordable and plenty of room between campers. We had so much fun riding bike and viewing the river!

We viewed the Custard House and it was very interesting as well, it’s a must see!

This site was very quiet and the park rangers are always patrolling it…

Lots of activities and history for your stay!

Another well maintained campground and even better state park with tons of different things to do with the entire family. For the campground there are tons of trees that offer great shade and trails for walking. The shower house is very clean and felt"modern" for a state park. If you like history…

Beautiful, Quiet, Historical

This was our maiden voyage in our first camper! South loop Campsite 36 was easy to park. Our electrical and water hookups were close. Dump station was easy. We were right next to comfort station which was well maintained. Kid Park was new and close to our site. There was lots of bike and walking…
