We loved this park. Nice that there are lots of options in town for food as we were traveling. We stayed in June and July. Our first site (81) was fantastic the second (118) was smaller and very muddy due to recent rain.
I stayed here over a holiday weekend and found that the campground was simple but has everything I needed. The campsites were spacious for two tents, a 4 and 2 person and there was space to have a run for two dogs.
The bathrooms and showers were typical of other campgrounds and not overly large…
We had a great night at this campground. Overall it's a pretty large campground, and there sites were a nice size. We were there on a weeknight and basically had the primitive area to ourselves.
No experience just sharing info
We were there 4th of July weekend, and the park was fully booked. Very friendly rangers, electricity in bathrooms, hot showers, and a nice dishwashing and recycling center.
The campsite connects to the beach area and there is boat rental, but no pets allowed in the beach area.
For us, a drawback…
We stayed one night in site 110. It was level and the utilities were good. There were beautiful old trees throughout, playgrounds, and open grassy areas to separate the site clusters. The bathroom was pretty good, but only two showers. When we were there, the park was full and very busy, so it…
We scheduled a pull through for 1 night last minute due to an unexpected change in plans. We are a full-time traveling family (2 kids - 8 & 13) and 2 English Bulldogs. We have a Class A motorhome and flat tow a Jeep. The campground was beautiful and easy to get in and out of. The sites were…
Campsite allows dogs, however, the beach does not. They have a small dog run on the other side of the large beach parking lot. Very clean, friendly employees.
What a great quiet location to visit. The staff is great and friendly. A little off the beaten path but I think this is what makes this place perfect.
Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff, well maintained and pleasantly arranged spaces. There ere a lot of campers set up when we were there but we never felt crowded.
We were very pleased with the knowledgeable and friendly staff, we had no problem getting a nice paved spot for our 34' class A, and they even provided a small treat for our Schnauzer.
Site F -90- there is a slope on the site with limited privacy. I suggest avoiding this site but there are quite a few other sites that looked nice and a stream flowing through.
Spent 2 weeks here while in assignment this spring. Clean, quiet. Very close to everything.
I have to preface by saying that I signed up to The Dyrt just to leave a review for Devil Doc campgrounds. I could not have had a more lovely experience at Devil Doc - and my GSD Daisy would emphatically agree! As they say, a tired dog is a good dog, and this girl is wiped out! **We loved our…

Camping at Chenango Valley State Park is always a great time. The park is very family friendly. It has numerous hiking and biking trails, two lakes (Lily and Kettle) and a 18-hole golf course for guests to enjoy. The grounds and bathrooms are very well maintained and the sites are level for those…
