This place was amazing for our needs. We were tent camping with two young kids. Between its location to the Black Hills, hikes, parks, monuments and on site fun our kids went to bed completely wore out each day. The staff was wonderful and the sites were great. We would highly recommend.
Great park, nice sites with lots of space between sites. Electric only, but access to water and dump.
This KOA is a great basecamp for visiting the Black Hills and is also in a very pretty location. The staff was great and quick to respond, but our site left somethings to be desired.
We where put into a tight and short pull-thru site that was fairly un-level. It took some work and a bunch of…
We were here in early October. We rented an RV spot online. Caught a beautiful sunset and stayed right next to the beach and lake even though it was cold. All facilities closed. We paid for full hookup but electricity cut off at 8 in all campgrounds. Probably a glitch.

Very scenic location. Had all the necessary hook ups. Very friendly employees that actually escorted us to our camping spot. Lots of amenities we did not use but it was good to have the option.
To start, site was double booked upon arrival but was quickly resolved by the owner. Other than that pretty good campground. Kinda close to the highway so you hear cars all night but a spring fed creek running behind the campsite downs out some of the noise. Despite the highway beautiful scenery!…
This land had a cattle lease in September 2020 and all that entails. There is one turnout an RV could utilize. Any other type of camping wouldn't be good. There is a trailhead and turn around at end of one lane road.
The restrooms were very clean and have showers. Close proximity to Hot Springs. There were other campers that were quite noisy at night well after quiet time.
Campground is very small and close to the highway, ground is very hard. Met a nice man who works for the campground and he offered to help. If you are in need of a place to shower and running (non-potable) water this may be for you. The rate for the tent camping was 20$ for the spot and an…
Nice campground with good tree cover. Workers are nice. We used for jumping off for Blackhills, Mount Rushmore, and the mammoth site.
We visited cascade falls while we were camped there as well as kidney springs. Felt very close to nature. Bugs were bad but incense sticks and Citronella coils did the job.
Not a bad little spot.. Close to town and near a peaceful stream.. Owner is very nice. The only negative is that It's close to the road and truckers use their Jake brakes all hours of the day and night, so don't expect to sleep in.

We were in Cheyenne, space 21. Nice and spacious woodsy campsite that just overlooks a little stagnant pond; unsure if there were fish in there or that the water was good enough to swim in. There were close vaulted toilets. It was a little distant to the flushed toilets and showers but a shirt…
We're in the midst of a week in our 26' travel trailer along this beautiful 1.5 mile-long dirt Forest Service road 714-A, directly above Chadron State Park. We're guessing that most folks who stay in the State Park campground below are unaware that dispersed camping is indeed permitted within 300…
Awesome camp ground very clean and very friendly. Hand cooked breakfast you can buy in the morning with big burritos that were awesome!! Can’t wait to stay there again.
