Several pet-friendly options exist near Arlee, including Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula KOA Holiday, and Gray Wolf Peak Casino for overnight RV parking. Dogs must be leashed at all locations, with waste disposal expected. Small camp with shower facilities positioned by a gurgling creek, though highway traffic noise can be noticeable. The Holmestead dry cabin allows dogs with access to a stream for play, while Boulder Lake offers primitive backcountry sites for hikers with pets. Trail access varies by location, with some areas requiring careful attention during spring when waters rise in the evenings and may flood lower plains. Nice amenities (mini golf, horse shoes, pool, dog park), close enough to town. Grass at our site.
This is one if the prettiest and cleanest campground we have ever stayed at. The sites are gravel, mostly level and most sites have shad. The pull through sites on the outer edge do not but others inside do. The laundry and bathhouse was very nice and clean. $2.00 per load to wash. There is flowers everywhere and they have a sprinkler system to keep everything pretty so you can’t leave anything out overnight that you don’t want to get wet. They mow each Thursday and are constantly doing upkeep on the grounds. FHU was a plus and made our stay enjoyable. There is a small dog park but it’s mostly in the sun so we chose to enjoy walks. The only downside (if I had to find one) was the train close by that was very squeaky as it went by. But I never heard it during the night.
This is a very well cared for campground. Beautiful flowers, trees, landscaping throughout the park. Very clean and loved. Store has a bit of everything you need. Fenced in dog park. Clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Very enjoyable stay!
This hike into the lakes is not for the faint of heart, but the most breath taking views of Montana at its finest. There are plenty of Brook trout and huckleberries to eat at each trail and lake. There is also a lot of wild life, including mountain goats, moose, deer, and elk. Please make sure when bringing pets that they know not to chase these animals and always look at fire reports before heading into this area.
I was a bit apprehensive when the sign read, “RV park, casino” (restaurant, motel).....but! This place is nice. Sites are close, so prepare to be friendly. Highway is close by as well, so you will hear some traffic noise. A train occasionally runs slowly across the river. Campground nicley maintained. But, the lawnmower is out there everyday!!! Loud and unneeded. Shower and Laundry available. Nice quiet road to walk pets. And beautiful view of river and mountainside.
Te lake is beautiful and the sites are really close to the lake. Better privacy than is typical. Pets allowed and the store is close.
Private campground. Level sites, stayed in #6 right by office. Sites fairly close together. Nice pet walk area. Showers clean. Full hookups. Solid, clean, well kept place to stay.
Finley point is a unit of Flathead Lake State Park, and has both tent camping as well as RV camping. There are RV spots practically right on the water, as well as tent spots. There’s also boat-in camping available, but you much sleep on your boat as there is no place for a tent next to the boat slips. The rangers do evening programs on the weekends, which are awesome. It’s a fabualous place to swim, paddle board, and spend time with family! Pets are allowed on leashes. There is not electric hookups or showers.
This is by far one of my favorite camping spots. Dispersed. Pet friendly. Quiet. Plenty of space between you and other campers. A river right by you. What more could you want? Oh and it’s right by a hot springs resort, in case you want to take a dip while you’re camping.

Weather patterns can change rapidly, particularly during spring and fall seasons.
