Stayed overnight at site 48 overlooking the Lake. It was so peaceful and lovely sunset just perfect. The facilities were all very clean and in excellent condition.

Clean, well kept off beaten path. Has storm shelter. Fish cleaning station.
We lucked out and nabbed a site right on the water on a really full weekend! It was a BEAUTIFUL view. The bathrooms/shower houses were immaculate and well kept. Solid firewood, $5 for 8 pieces. It was packed but definitely didn't feel like it. We had 5 dogs in our group and spent a lot of time on…
We were looking for a quick detour to set up our tent and sleep for a few hours. This was exactly that. There was a picnic table, a fire pit, a nice breeze, a lake and it was quiet and secluded
It looks like the grounds were well traveled in it hay day, but today it lies desolate and not maintained. Definitely an experience for those who enjoy getting out of their comfort zone!

Although there were RVers and a nice group of Boy Scoutspaet of the time, there was no one else in our tent camping side. We had chilly weather, but marvelous views of the water with a rare flock of pelicans! Some of the trails were muddy, but there plenty of others to choose from. Red buds and…
This site is $0 is nice quite area right off main highway camp sites are first come first serve
The best feature of this park, in my opinion, is the four-mile paved recreation trail that goes around the entire 171-acre lake. Good for walking, running, or biking. The lake is beautiful, and we also saw people boating, kayaking, and fishing. Although swimming is also allowed, the beach was not…

Our favorite place so far! What an absolutely beautiful state park. We were in a 30 ft motorhome and had a fantastic site right by the playground which was so fun for our little girls. Very clean campground with friendly folks all around. There was firewood for purchase and we had a great time.…
There are no amenities at all. No restrooms. No shower facilities. Storm shelter is locked up, no access. But it's lakeside living and send registration. Not so bad expect for having to leave all the time for restroom or shower.

This place is a private, and quiet area. You almost get a vibe at first that your somewhere you shouldn't be. Than you get a look at that lake and forget about it. Charity lake sits in between or in a valley of hills. You see these hills with all this plush green trees around this lake. I can…
Nicely maintained. Nice clean no-wake lake. Gets very quiet at 10:30 curfew. Clean showers/bathroom once the night bugs were cleared out.
Overall it was a good stay. Our campsite was the smallest we have ever had. It didn’t help that our “neighbor” parked cockeyed taking up 1/2 our site and refused to fix the issue.
It was a nice park. Saturday night they played a movie in front of our site which was a nice surprise. They offered…

Great place. Nice lake, pretty camp site. Full primitive.
The bathrooms and showers were well kept. Was lucky and got a campsite under some shade, but quite a few weren't so lucky. Ended up with site 60, right in front of the showers and bathrooms, which was great but also sucked. As soon as the bathroom doors opened the fans came on, which late at night…
