Located in northern Idaho's beautiful Clearwater Valley, Dent acres Campground on Dworshak Lake is surrounded by forests and abundant wildlife. Dworshak Lake is 54 miles long, hosts kokanee salmon, rainbow trout and small mouth bass fishing. It has excellent boating, water skiing and hunting opportunities.
Dent Acres is an excellent location for boaters, fishermen, hunters, hikers, wildlife watching, as well as quiet relaxation. There is a boat ramp for access to the reservoir, multiple trails for hiking, and thousands of surrounding acres of public lands for the hunter.
Dent Acres features 49 pull through camping sites and one back-in only site. The campground can accommodate everything from tent camping to large RVs. All sites have water and 50/30 amp electricity hookups as well as sewage hookups, a fire pit and a covered picnic table. The campground offers flush toilets and a shower house. Adjacent to the campground is a playground and plenty of open space for activities. There are also flush toilet restrooms and a fish cleaning station located near the boat ramp. There are several large trash dumpsters near the boat dock. There is a large reservable sun shelter, which can accomodate up to 75 people. Pets are recquired to be under owner's physical control and on a 6 foot leash at all times. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Check in time is 3pm, Check out time is 1200 (noon).
Dworshak Reservoir is surrounded by steep forested, mountainous country. Numerous small creeks feed the reservoir.

Freeman Creek Campground is a camper’s paradise with standard and serviced campsites, camper cabins, tent campsites overlooking the reservoir, reservable boat slips, and small group camps. Some of the recreational activities include archery, a playground, volleyball courts, and horseshoes.
Take the opportunity to travel the lovely White Pine Scenic Byway, Idaho 6, north from the quaint town of Harvard, Idaho for just over 7 miles to visit this special site. Named after an enormous, 600 year old white pine that has since been cut down due to disease (but still resides in the campground!), this cozy and inviting campground has 14 developed sites, all resting in a lush forested setting. Many hiking trails are in the vicinity of the campground, including the National Recreation Trail 224A, the East Fork Meadows Creek Trail.
McKay’s Bend, which is jointly managed by the BLM and Idaho Fish and Game, is a developed recreation site located along the Clearwater River and Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. This recreation site offers developed camping for RVs and tents, group facilities, a day use area, showers, flush toilets, and provides river access. Facilities Include: • 14 full hookup RV sites with water, electricity 50 AMP service, sewer, picnic tables, and fire rings • 2 large tent campsites with picnic tables and fire rings • Showers - 2 (only available to registered campground visitors) • Day use area with picnic tables and BBQ grills • Drinking water • Flush toilets - 2 • Parking area • NO RV dump station • Open year-round; first come, first served- no reservations can be made. • Dogs must be on a leash (6 feet or less) • Garbage disposal on site.
