Best RV Parks & Resorts near Grand View, ID

Mountain Home RV Park provides full hookup RV sites with concrete pads, spacious grassy areas between sites, and 30/50-amp electrical service. Located approximately 45 minutes from Grand View, this year-round facility accommodates large motorhomes with pull-through options and back-in sites. Trinity View Resort offers 85 RV sites with full hookups including water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electrical connections. The park features pull-through sites suitable for big rigs and provides propane service on-site. Carmela RV Park at Y Knot Winery maintains gravel pull-through sites with full hookups, though the layout requires careful positioning to align with utility connections. "The sites have an interesting layout as they are long, yet the front and back of site not really defined. You have to adjust your rig on the gravel pad to fit your rig to the utilities towards the back of the site."

Several RV parks in the region require water pressure regulators due to high system pressure. Cell service varies significantly between locations, with Mountain Home RV Park offering reliable Verizon coverage while more remote parks like Trinity View Resort have limited connectivity. Most facilities provide sanitary dump stations, though availability of on-site propane differs between parks. Pet-friendly policies are standard across most properties, with Mountain Home RV Park featuring dedicated fenced dog exercise areas. During summer months, advance reservations are strongly recommended as parks fill quickly with travelers. Winter camping remains available at several facilities, though amenities may be limited during off-season periods. Road conditions to some parks include gravel sections that may be challenging for larger motorhomes during wet weather.

This is our second stay here since new ownership. First trip was June 2022 and October 2922.  Both trips we had an awesome time. Just in a few months this place has made some very nice improvements and still has amazing views surrounding the camp ground. After staying a few places in the area over this past summer, Trinity View Resort for us is our top pic and will be spending a lot more time here in the future. Both trips we had our E-Bikes and took some amazing rides through the valleys and mountains and still haven't explored all the areas available here.

Cell service is good here. We have Verizon hot spot that worked perfectly and AT&T cell phones have good signal as well,

There are different options for all kinds of campers from, Full hook ups ( Big rig friendly) to tent camping. On site RV rentals and cabins are also available.

Lots of fun stuff to do here for the whole family or even groups.

The people here are friendly and respectful to other campers as well as super friendly staff and owners. Very friendly to work with and communication with changes if need depending availability.

This resort is well on its way to be one of the best camp resorts in this area. Well worth the trip for sure.

    The Wagon Wheel

    Small grounds with peaceful atmosphere

These grounds are truly tiny. There are several spaces occupied by long term residents and others have visitors like us who are just passing through. The grounds themselves are well-kept with lots of mature trees around the sites providing shade and large shrubs and fences ensuring privacy from the outside.

The park has easy entry on N 18th, the park roads are quite wide and navigable and there’s an exit gate just on the other side. While the park accommodates large trailers, I believe all spots are back-in and there’s a couple tricky areas that would be best suited for small trailers. For $40, the price is reasonable for a level pad and full hookups. It’s very quiet, situated off the main road across from a cemetery and a funeral home. It’s a really great option if you want to pay a bit less than the large park down the street and be around far fewer other RVers!

    Mountain Home RV Park

Mountain Home is a great place to stay

Mountain Home RV Resort is a picturesque park with over 280 spots split between a more established shaded spots and newer less shaded area. There are many long term residents yet given the number of available spots this does not present a problem. Shower and laundry facilities are plentiful and clean. There is no charge to use the shower and the cost of washers and driers is nominal. I would defiantly stay here again.

    Jacks Creek Campground

    Great open area on water!

Several sites along reservoir with camping literally on the water's edge. Out of probably a dozen sites, most are rv friendly, even a couple of sites for big rigs. This campground is a utility operated natural area by Idaho Power and very well maintained. Fishing, kayaking and bird watching abounds. Very quiet, has the cleanest pit toilets I've ever seen (there's 3), fire pit rings, boat launch and excellent verizon cell service. Paved road through pristine farmland to the gravel road entrance about 3 miles beyond the small community of Bruneau. 5 stars.

    Boise Riverside RV Park

The Perfect RV Park For Visitors to Boise, Idaho

This RV Camping Site is AWESOME! They do allow tent camping and have cabins. They have full hookups for RV's as well. There is a lower rate for "back-ins" to the Boise River Greenbelt. They also have a higher rate for Pull Through Sites for RVs. There is so much to do in the area. Biking, hiking, walking along the Boise River. There is also some great fishing on the Boise River. This location is centered for city goers, snow skiers, white water rafters and anglers. We visited some nice restaurants within a short drive of the campgrounds. We rode our bikes along the trails, upstream and downstream. The campgrounds also rent bikes for those that don't have their own :-) You will not be disappointed with this campground if you want to get to know Boise, Idaho.

Three Island Crossing State Park Campground

Nice campground near the river with several things to keep you busy.

We really liked this campground! First, the sites are nicely paved and level, and have full hookups which make an extended stay really nice. There is a picnic table and fire ring for having an enjoyable outdoor experience. there is a huge grass open area adjacent to the site which is nice for outdoor sports.

There is a hiking trail at the edge of the campground which takes you to a nearby winery for a flight of wine and some good food. Very nice for the adults! There is also a path that takes you to a park down at the river which is nice for the kids, and our boys loved the disc golf course. It is huge with 18 holes, but the front 9 are the best, as the back nine have a lot of cheat grass and bushes to lose your disc in.

Nearby there is also a museum about the Oregon trail and how the Three Island Crossing area was used by the settlers... Very interesting place!

Overall we had a great Memorial Day long Weekend.

    Sunny Ridge RV Park

    The new owners are trying

The owner said they have had the park for about a year, and have made lots of improvements, but it still needs some work. The sites are confusing. We had site 17, but the water was so far I needed 2 hoses. The electric hook up was too far for my power cord, and I couldn’t reach the sewer hookups either. The sites are mostly grass (mud) with a small concrete pad. Internet is good, but I had no cell phone service. The owner was pleasant and waited for us to arrive after 8:00. We made it work for 1 night. There are cattle on the hillside behind the park, and deer wondered around as I was setting up. It is in a nice setting. Hopefully they can keep making improvements. Many of the people look like long term.

    Mountain Home RV Park

    Full service and full comfort

UPDATED 2021: This place continues to provide excellent service and clean, spacious sites. Propane is a reasonable price ($2.70/gal as of 3/21). One awesome discovery I made this time around was a trailhead that starts behind Walmart and extends for about 2.5 miles towards Legacy Park. If you’re a runner or walker... give it a shot!

Everything about this RV Park is well-planned and fluid. From the arrival greeting to the spaces themselves, the facilities and the landscaping... it’s all warm and welcoming. They take great care of this park. The spaces are level, the grass between spots is large and manicured, and all the facilities are clean. We didn’t use the restrooms or showers but were told they’re in excellent condition. The sites are very easy to access and the picnic benches are spotless... which is borderline weird. There is a dog run, heated pool and spa, laundry, tetherball and more. Mountain Home RV Park is about 1 hour from Twin Falls and 45 min from Boise. In between both cities are tons of opportunity for outdoor adventure. Less than a mile from you RV spot is a Walmart and a Pilot station. They have propane refilling on site at the park. We would have stayed here for a month if we had the time. We will definitely return.

    Clean but Wifi is Poor

The park is clean and the facilities are nice. Most sites are gravel pull through with a concrete pad. They tell you that there’s limited access to Wifi. We couldn’t even connect.

Tips from RVers

Navigating specific site layouts: Carmela RV Park sites require strategic positioning. Smittie notes: "RV sites are set up strangely but they were very nice about letting us park on the grass to reach the sewer, water and electric."

Electrical considerations: Verify electrical connections before setup. Dave S. at Boise Riverside RV Park recommends: "I hooked up my surge protector and got reverse polarity warnings. I located the manager & told her I wanted to move as I won't use a faulty outlet."

Site selection at winery parks: At Sunny Ridge RV Park, utility connections vary by site. Joel R. advises: "The sites are confusing. We had site 17, but the water was so far I needed 2 hoses. The electric hook up was too far for my power cord, and I couldn't reach the sewer hookups either."
