Low water but good family camping

We took our camper and kids to Magic Reservoir. We went to the west side. Right now the water is very very low. We actually pulled out onto the dry bed of the reservoir so we were close to the water. We could easily walk down a slope to the water for fishing. We caught a few bass and trout. Since we were in the lake bed, there wasn't any tall grass or shrubs so no ticks. It also gave us a good place to ride our 4wheeler and dirt bike. Normally May has a lot more water but it looks like 2021 will be a drought year. The water dropped another few feet overnight it seemed. Mid May was a great time to go. It wasn't too hot. A few storms rolled in but they were quick to pass and then the sun was out again.

Clean, accessible, perfect

First time camping here (my husband did growing up). I was surprised to find bathrooms readily available (no water but still...) very clean, did not see any trash. Sites were easily accessible. There were some decent ruts in the road in a few spots due to the wet spring, but nothing impassable. Would definitely visit again.
