Good Place if Needed

The campsites are fine. Well used. There are pit toilets. Fresh water (you can fill water without camping). Had spaces on Labor Day weekend. It’s cooler than Palm Springs. (It feels like summer, not hell). Fire pits. I guess that works when fire risk is low. Note: I can faintly hear dogs and chickens from nearby houses. Oh, and the road traffic.

Desert camping nestled in the mountains

Arrived late at night around 11:30 pm to find many sites available. Campground was spacious and surrounded by foliage and shrubs to provide a sense of privacy and seclusion. I would camp here again!

Beautiful mountain area

Basic little ground with convenient water and bathroom if you need it. Nice picnic tables and cozy sites!

Nicely spaced campsites

Rather larger parcels for individual camping and rv sites. definitely not on top of your neighbors. I’m picky when it comes to sites and privacy so trust me you’ll enjoy this. It’s right off hwy 74 so you hear cars but it’s not bad. Great views from everywhere, find a spot with trees so you can have some extra shade! I’m quite impressed with the fire pits other than the fact they’re fairly shallow. They have this really cool grill grate that you can raise and lower over one side of the fire. There’s a faucet at each campsite I believe, at least at site 19 and several others I walked by.
