Elk County Rv and resort

Great place to stay. So quite, sites are great, some what level. The red school house was very interesting. The smell of camp fire was wonderful.

Good except for the trashy site of the neighbor.

I like camping to get away with other campers and enjoy the outdoors in a beautiful place.. Unfortunately, site 9 is jammed right up against a permanent resident at the campground. The site has junk all over it and dows not give you that get away from it all feeling.

Good and bad

The spots are good pull through but when they say quite time is 10pm they take it seriously here. We pretty much couldn't even be out side our trailer without the camp lady that lives there would come out and tell us to be quiet. It was ridiculous. Even during the day she didn't let us have our…

Beautiful Place

This is the second summer that we have stayed at Klamath River RV Park. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful. It has well maintained grounds and friendly staff. RV spaces are on grass. It has laundry and restrooms/showers. River access a nearby drive but not at the RV park.

Friendly and Beautiful!

This is a gorgeous RV site on the river! River sites are more expensive, but well worth it! Beautiful campground with grass sites, a walking trail, kids playground, clean washing machines, and firewood for sale! Fresh picnic tables, a beautifully maintained site, extremely friendly owner. Had a…

Lots of elk!

We reserved the last site in the campground. It was great. Bathrooms were a little far away, but there was plenty of room. 4 family shower rooms. You can get creek side spots just below us. Hiked from camp. Saw elk in the prairie. Like someone else said, close to Fern Canyon.

Website misleading! Customer service poor.

Checked availability for dates We needed on website. Showed two spots open for the days I needed for four days. When we called to book we were told they have no sites available for the days we wanted. We mentioned that their website showed two sites available for those days. After that she stated…

Lovely spot

After finding out our original planned spot was closed (Hells gate) we decided to keep on going and see what was available. We stumbled on this and boy I’m so happy. The lake was perfect! There were people there but it wasn’t over filled. The spots weren’t super level so this campground was better…

Beautiful little campground next to lagoon

First come first served, we managed to grab the last of a few sites on a Wednesday afternoon. We had a view of the lagoon and enjoyed playing in the water. We hiked over to the ocean as well. As the signs said, though, the beach was very dangerous due to the steepness of the beach, etc. See sign in…

Gorgeous view, but poorly maintained site

I stayed at Abalone Point. The view was breathtaking, but there was garbage scattered around the site and the bathroom (vault toilet) was filthy and had no toilet paper.

Quiet Redwoods Getaway

This is a beautiful campground in Meyer’s Flat, CA. The area of Myers Flat is a little “sketchy” but the campground is very well kept and they close the gates at night which is nice. There are nice little cabins on site as well as RV sites. We stayed for 3 nights and it was very enjoyable. Driving…

Nice place, close to Humboldt

We stayed here 2 nights in our 24’ bumper pull. Cute little place. On top of RV sites (I think all of them have full hookups for at least 30 amp) they have some cute little bungalows and a grassy area for tent campers too. Folks at check in were very nice and were able to get our last minute…

Wild and lovely spot close to the coast

We booked the last spot in the place, small enough for our teardrop, with a view right over the river. The weather is wild and the surrounding area is dense beautiful coastal forest. Nice facilities and a cozy little spot. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
