Nice night sleeping amongst redwoods

I camped here while bike packing along the Pacific Coast Route. Normally I would have camped at the state parks which offer cheap bike camping spots but they were all closed at this time so I had to reserve a normal full camp site. It was rainy but this site was still beautiful and actually quite…

Beautiful site with lots of space

We stayed alongside the creek and enjoyed dining one night at the local restaurant. Highly recommend this campground

Up, up, up

For reasons I can't fully explain, Laguna Seca is my favorite campground ever. It's a deep dive into Oak Chaparral and . . . race cars. Expect high winds, revving motors, and ticks. There is no drinking water up there at the moment but there are showers and restrooms. If you are riding your bike,…

Redneck Heaven

Pistol shooting during the day, fireworks at night & race car driving (road course) all day.

No potable water, only electricity & dump. Site dirty, so we cleaned it. Pretty mountain scenery. Great mountain biking & hiking. 20-30 minute access to Monterey Peninsula.

Perfect for beginning campers and glampers

Great location with nice views of the valley. Easy drive in with parking spots next to most sites.

Camp sites and cabins are a little close together but nice, clean grounds make it comfortable. Good playground for kids. Foosball, ping pong, corn hole, horseshoes, and other games available. 3 gas…

Mesmerizing drive up

I was able to only reserve one night about two weeks prior to my stay. On my way out I asked if they take walk ins and they do at $ 35. If we wanted to we would have been able to stay a second night, but we ended up driving North. We saw three deer, river, trees that have been there for several…

Great place and not far away from the tourist spots.

Great place for only $40 a night. It has all the essentials for your stay. First come, first served. Very clean showers and restrooms! Showers are included in the price. No need to buy annoying tokens. (You can also shower for $3 if you aren’t staying over night). This campsite is located in the…

Big Sur Paradise

We absolutely love this campground!!! The grounds are well kept and the store has just about everything you could need. Sites are decently spread apart and all have fire pits. There is no signal and super spotty wifi but that's the joy of camping here- being totally unplugged. ☺ Cross the river by…

Beautiful but crowded

This is an amazing campground on the big sur river. The Rangers do a pretty good job keeping the place up. Fishing is not allowed in the river but not practical anyway because people are swimming in it all the time. I'm a single guy with a truck camper. This is a great spot for families.

Very quiet, fully equipped RV park

The place is very clean and well kept. Close enough to Carmel, Monterey, ocean and parks yet quiet and secluded. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
