Tons of hiking trails, summit trail was nearby our spot in Juniper, no water available when we went, gates are closed sunset-sunrise, all around a cool spot and its nice how close it is to home. Seems pretty difficult to get a reservation, but its worth it if you can get in

Mt. Diablo SP has 3 campgrounds: Live Oak, Juniper, and several first come first serve sites at the junction of South Gate and North Gate roads about 2000ft up the mountain.
Live Oak is the closest to the entrance (and town), and features some cool rock formations to explore, but it's colder,…

Good for one night. Manager was super friendly and escorted us to out site. This application says it’s 50 amp with septic. No septic and only 30 amp service. Clean place- just seems to be portapots.
This site is a nice hidden gem that many won't know even has a campground. While tiny and available only for a small number of campers, if you can get a spot booked well in advance, you'll have the place nearly all to yourself. Located just off of 680, you'll take Bollinger Canyon Road where you'll…

I wanted somewhere not too far to go and stay when my 5-6 year-old had 5 days off from school. This was perfect in so many ways.
- Amenities! I love how everything was themed, from the street names to the signs. Two nice playgrounds, ball courts, pool and hot tub. Watching your kids…
Loved the access to rhe Delta. Only negative was it is more of A nightly party. So if you want quite. Not your place maybe in fall and winter
We go with several families with kids 5-13 and they all have a blast. The price per night is very expensive but there are a lot of amenities. Nice playground, basketball court, volleyball, bouncy pillow, outdoor movies, pool, lazy river, water park, bumper boats, laser tag, boat rentals on the…
Sugar barge is right on the delta. They have a boat trailer parking lot and a boat ramp. The rv spots are very close together. The bathrooms have been recently remodeled and are very nice. They rent kyacks and have a restaurant that looks right over the water.
Nice quite campground on Travis Air Force Base. Base Access and Privileges required to use.
The office helped accommodate us for an extended stay during a busy time. Some sites are pretty close together. We have a nice site right now, but decided to park the truck at a nearby on-site lot due to the size of this space (but we were thankful they worked us in, and our truck did fit, but so…

We decided to go here because it was so close to home. The wind was crazy ! We weren’t able to put our awning out . But everyone was very friendly and helpful the grass was long and sites were not level
Wonderful rv spot, the staff are welcoming and very helpful. The grounds are kept up, every site has a fire ring with picnic tables. The bathrooms are decent and dump Station is clean. This is definitely a favorite spot of ours.

It was a great time! Stayed at site 7, well separated from everyone else. Room to set up two average sized tents. Rock ground, not very soft. Very hot outside, cooled down at night enough to make sleeping comfortable. Drove up to the peak at 7am before it opened to the public and we had the whole…

Camped 4 nights at site 32 during the week. A nice shaded site with river view, but not very level. All sites are pull throughs with electric, water, a stationary picnic table and fire ring. Online reservations are required and must be made a minimum of 2-weeks in advance. Campground was nearly…
