Golden

I love this place, & have everything you need to enjoy the outdoors, with friends and fam! The area can get dirty very quickly during the weekend! Due to many careless visitors leaving Trash 🙈. Can't wait to revisit.

Crowded family time

All the bells and whistles are available at this resort RV park including renting an RV on site. The location is great located right on the bay with lots of walking/bike riding trails, a beach with kayak rentals, and walkable to many restaurants (although Newport isn’t really a walking town). This…

Terrific Dispersed Spot

My wife and our friends love this spot. As a matter of fact, we got engaged at nearby Jenks Lake and celebrated here after. No facilities, but if you have your supplies, it’s great. There are a couple loops and lots of spots. Enjoy.

Hidden getaway

Fun off-road adventure to get to the site. Minimal sites so not much crowding.

Affleck Park

So I'm Cali boy at heart there's nothing like camping on the beach but for a 30min drive from Downtown Salt Lake City it doesn't get better than this. This is a small camp ground with plenty of space in-between sites that you really can for get about about the world. The sites are big with a fire…

Full timers

Park is full of full time campers. Lots of clutter and unsightly sites of makeshift roofs and enclosures. I drove thru to check it out and will not be staying. Might be a great place to live, but not for camping purposes.

NOPE!

If you like to camp on a dirt patch in VERY close proximity to neighbors, surrounded by chain link fence(!), then you may enjoy this place. For us, no way. Super expensive and not at all worth it. I would have rather slept on the side of a road. This is not what I consider camping.

Very pleased with this place in finding it

It's definitely not that far away from the city roughly a 7-10 minute drive up the mountain very chill environment awesome staff very home like feel you're literally a box throw away from the creek if you're not really big on hiking but enjoy the scenery this would probably be a good way for you to…

Great campsite, bummer that the lake is gross

This is probably the nicest thing in lake elsinore along with the bowling alley. We stayed there for a weekend and had a great time taking the kids to the pool, and slaps pad. The restaurant has great food and cold drinks. They had a band play while we were there.

Nice For Members

Fisherman's is a nice, quiet getaway if you are a member. The members lake & camping spots are nice & quiet. Great place to relax & fish. Get a spot up against the lake. The non members lakes & camping spots can be a little ghetto. A lot of them are just travelers passing thru. So…

Awesome park

Such a beautiful park. The park rangers are so helpful and friendly. The porta potties at the campsites were very clean. We were first timers so we opted for a space with electricity. Will definitely be going back soon.

Need high clearance vehicle!!

I loved the site! It has a bathroom at the very start, but can be a little ways from the sites. I had service up there, not to crowded and the spots are a good ways away from each other! The only downfall is without a high clearance vehicle, it took me an hour and a half to go six miles up, and…
