Reservations are available at Falls Campground, a Forest Service site in Shoshone National Forest along Highway 26 east of the Tetons, running $20 per night for primitive sites in Loop B and $30 for Loop A sites with electric hookups. The campground accommodates RVs up to 45 feet, and access off the highway is straightforward enough that trailers report few problems, though a few reviewers pulling rigs in at night noted low-hanging branches along some driveways. Drinking water is available near the entrance, but campers should bring jugs: hose connections are not permitted, so filling up requires carrying water to your site.
Loop A and Loop B have noticeably different characters. Loop A runs closer to the highway and has electric hookups along with a faint AT&T signal. Loop B sits farther from the road, quieter and without hookups. Each site comes with a bear box, picnic table, and enough spacing between neighbors that privacy holds even when the campground fills. Jim M. describes the grounds as having "beautiful wild flowers and a million playful ground squirrels," and the forested setting draws enough wildlife activity to keep camp interesting without much effort.
The waterfall the campground is named for is a short walk from the sites, and a trail continues past it up to ridge views to the east. Campers also use Falls as a base for exploring the broader region, with places to camp near Shoshone National Forest spread across the surrounding terrain. Dark skies are a consistent draw after sunset. Mosquitoes are heavy in June and manageable by mid-July, so bug protection is worth packing regardless of timing.
The campground runs from mid-June through mid-September. Several campers who stopped in as an overnight break from the Yellowstone and Grand Teton corridor ended up extending their stays, finding the site less crowded than expected given its location. A camp host drives through to collect payment and verify site assignments, keeping the self-registration process orderly. Those who want dispersed options nearby can look at Shoshone NF Dispersed — Brooks Lake Creek Area, about a half mile southeast, or Brooks Lake Dispersed Camping a few miles to the northwest.
