    Fountain of Youth RV Park

    Hot Springs

$55 night, full hook ups: electric, water, and sewage. Pull thru sites. All sites come with picnic table and fire ring. Sites are level. Not very private. Not a lot of shady trees so camper can warm up even with AC. Dog friendly.

Lovely big hot spring pool. it has different sections with different temps. They clean the pools bi-weekly so make sure to ask when reserving if its a cleaning week because you will lose pool time.

Didnt have much luck with wifi. at&t was very week, verizon was good in the area.

State park near by with more hot spring views and bison views. We did the spirit trail just over a mile.

Beware the whole area smells like rotten eggs due to the sulfer in the springs. It can be nauseating.

    Eagle RV Park

Convenient, shady, clean bathrooms with good showers, polite, helpful staff

We usually prefer disbursed but needed power for AC with temps in the 90s.   They have nice shady spots with picnic tables and full service (water, power, sewer).  Bathrooms are clean with adequate # toilet stalls for number of people.  The RV park was full and no issues with neighbors.  Only potential downside is it's right off the highway and a bit noisy but that's Par for the course of most RV parks in towns/cities in my experience.

    Our little oasis

We loved everything about this campground. My 4 yo son loved the pool and the playground. My 12 daughter loved the WiFi and extra clean showers and bathrooms. The laundry room was immaculate. We also got some fancy rocks for a very low price. After a long drive, this was amazing to arrive at a well organized ground, very level with picnic tables and trees and calming surroundings.

    Ten Sleep Rock Ranch

    Climbers campground open to all

A climbers campground on the west side of the Big Horn Mountains, this was a very useful find when a reservation didn’t pan out up canyon. There are a lot of pluses and minuses to this campground. On the minus side is the fact that it is right on the road with no buffer, sites are very small, there is no privacy between sites, and you likely won’t have cell service. But on the plus side is that it is$5 a night with$2 showers, the bathhouse is pretty clean, there is an outdoor kitchen with sink, two fridges for camper use(mark your items!), Tensleep Creek drowns out most of the highway noise(especially if you get a site on the creek), there is a really nice large pavilion with lots of picnic tables and lots of beta for climbers, there is free wifi in the pavilion, and you aren’t too far from town to get supplies or go to the brewery or from heading up the mountain to the Big Horns.

    Eagle RV Park

    Reasonable for non-electric

With the only RV park in town, I was skeptical of a price gouging. $30 for non-electric/ no water. Amazing! One partially shaded site was available - the clerk let us pick. Fire ring available to have a fire. Woman’s Bathroom is clean & quaintly updated with fresh paint & cheery shower curtain. Laundry facilities & outdoor washing area (could be used for getting water). Grassy dog area complete with poop bags, shovel & rake.

    Greybull KOA

One of the best for an overnight stay

I can’t think of one negative comment, even the towns 9 o’clock curfew alarm was charming. The concrete sites are level and spacious with tables, fire pits and charcoal grills. The grounds are well cared with a small playground and dog run. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a paved walk just steps out of the campground where we took a walk and watched deer. We only stayed one night but wish that all our campgrounds could be like this one.

What campers like

Unique hot spring amenities: Cabin guests at Fountain of Youth RV Park appreciate the mineral pools. "This great little RV park is outside of Thermopolis by a couple of miles, but it is worth the extra drive... The highlight are the mineral hot spring swimming pools (included). All around great site," shares Brent J.

Convenient town access: Visitors staying in Ten Broek RV Park cabins enjoy the proximity to local services. "Nice shaded fhu site. Very clean restroom and shower facilities. Laundry facilities are a little dated but worked. Owners were personable and attentive. Walking distance into the small town," explains natalie S.

"This place is great, showers, toilets, community fridge, wifi, good vibes, everything you'll need!" notes Anthony D., highlighting the amenities available for all guests regardless of accommodation type.

What you should know

Train noise considerations: Some cabin sites have nearby train tracks. "Mostly came to this place for the showers, which were clean and had hot water. The park however was frankly not the best... And what they don't tell you is that the train runs about ten feet away from some of the sites. We woke up at one point with the train shaking the ground at about 3:30 in the morning," warns Grace R. about Fountain of Youth RV Park.

Seasonal availability limitations: Most cabin rentals operate on restricted schedules. Shell Campground offers year-round options including "cabins and yurts," with a visitor noting they "just arrived here and have fallen in love with this place. Cozy, super clean, especially the bathrooms! And it's not just for RVs."

Reservation requirements: Summer weekends require advance planning. "Very nice camp host and beautiful campground. A little spendy for what they had to offer us. We ended up not staying because it was $30 for us to park in gravel in the middle of their lot. The cabins and tents looked really nice but were booked up for the night," shares Monica W. about Shell Campground.

Tips for camping with families

Pool access for children: Families enjoy water-based activities at certain locations. "We loved everything about this campground. My 4 yo son loved the pool and the playground. My 12 daughter loved the WiFi and extra clean showers and bathrooms," shares Vena B. about her stay at Greybull KOA.

Playground availability: Some Worland area cabin sites offer play equipment. "Nice little campground, tucked just outside of town. Minutes from stores and restaurants. This KOA had a pool, play ground, laundry room, rec room plus many more," notes Taylor B. about Greybull KOA facilities.

Pet policies and restrictions: Family pets face different rules at each location. "You can have pets on leash. They are very strict about leashes. Bathrooms very clean, has showers very clean. Well kept. Owners seemed polite and nice. Very accommodating," explains Katie B. about Eagle RV Park's pet policies.

Tips from RVers

Cabin alternatives for AC needs: During hot weather, air-conditioned cabins provide comfort. "We usually prefer disbursed but needed power for AC with temps in the 90s. They have nice shady spots with picnic tables and full service," explains peter M. about Eagle RV Park accommodations.

Laundry access: Extended stays require laundry facilities. "Clean and well kept campground. River across from the highway. Close to the Scenic byway. Nice stopover in town," notes Kim B. about Eagle RV Park, highlighting the convenient facilities.

Site spacing awareness: Cabin and RV site proximity varies significantly. "The RV itself wasn't great. The bathrooms were acceptable, not overly clean but not dirty either. Had a little laundry room with 2 washers and dryers. The sites are ridiculously close together and your neighbor's sewer hookup is nearly in your site," warns Ashley M. about spacing at Eagle RV Park.
