Not many places to camp

We were looking for a spot with our camper and drove back this road but did not see many places to pull off and camp that was already established. There were many side roads probably used for ATVs that may have provided more opportunities but we did not want to risk getting back there with no where to turn around. There was absolutely no one there. Views were nice though. We ended up caping in another area.

dispersed camping

Forest service (dirt) road leading to Lost Dog day use area in Flaming Gorge. There are places along the road to pull off and boondock, with great sunrise and sunset views and occasional glimpses of the gorge. looks like it might be dicey after heavy rain
