Great for overnight stops

Nice campground, but lots of road noise. Try to get as far back towards the lake as possible and it's a little quieter. Reservations are recommended. Sites 19 and 21 are nice and deep, especially if you don't want to unhook.

Nice sites, but SO LOUD

The sites are nice and clean, with level tent spots. The lake is great for kayaking and paddleboarding. However, the highway noise was very loud (even through my earplugs). Add to that lots of scream-talkers partying until midnight and we didn't sleep much. During the day, we often had the gift of military fighter jets flying low overhead.

Nice but very noisy

Sites are clean, not super private but also not cramped. Road noise is VERY loud all night long, so if you are a tent sleeper keep this in mind. Fellow campers were also extremely loud and the camp host didn't seem to care (I'm talking scream-talking at 10pm around a fire during a fire ban). Easy access to a very muddy lake beach, but the lake is quite nice.

Nice campground off Hwy 12 and next to Rimrock Lake

This campground is off HWY 12, but far enough were you don't hear the highway traffic. The park is fairly large with lots of great sites.  Most sites were large and provided plenty of privacy.  There are multiple access areas to the lake and several trails along the lake. I would highly recommend this campground if you are in the area.

Labor day fun

Camp ground maintained by super nice camp hosts from hoodoo. Lost of trees and space between sites. Easy access to Rimrock lake. A littel road noise but worth the views and access to the lake. No power but several pit tiolets on site.

Love this place

We love camping around White Pass WA because it is so close to great hikes and White Pass Ski Resort. We have actually camped here in our RV and then went up skiing in the morning. Mt. Rainier hikes are also about an hour away from here which is really nice as well. You can’t beat hiking in that area. One hike I love is Round Mountain. That is only about a 10min drive from this campground. The road is gravel and pretty bumpy and long up to this hike. The views are gorgeous, though. There is also bear creek mountain hike which again, the road is pretty long and bumpy. Would recommend a higher clearance car. My husband has also stayed here in the fall and hunts in the mornings and evenings. He says this is a great location to stay. The campground is good, small spots and VERY busy in the summer! Reserve your spot ahead of time would be my recommendation. Rimrock Lake is very close, so if you have a boat I would recommend bringing that. We love bringing our kayaks and heading out on the lake.
