We have stayed at. Peaceful at night, nice pines surrounding sites, friendly and attentive staff, and a ton of activities. Pool, hot tub, nice lake for fishing and boating, laundry facilities that take cards, and everything else that KOAs offer.
TravelerThe staff are so helpful here! We love the private campsites. They have daily activities if you want to keep busy or keep the kids busy. The pool is wonderful along with a huge hot tub. They stock the lake with fish, so fishing is awesome!

Even though the sites are small and close together, they are at different levels as you go up the hill combined with the sites and cabins being tucked under the giant pines, gives you a sense of privacy. It's a really cute campground/resort. They offer tent area, Rv area and log cabins of various sizes. Pool. Boat launch with access to coeur d'Alene lake. Beautiful setting. Cell signal is good.

We stayed one night in a deluxe cabin. It was spacious enough, with a partial kitchen, AC, and full bath. The grounds are well-kept but older. The cabin was tired—cabinets with loose hinges, squeaky bed, tub drain was slow, WiFi wasn’t working. Each cabin has a propane grill and the one by ours was too dirty to use. There is no shade on the cabins or many of the tent sites and it’s often so hot here in the summer that the AC can’t cool very well. It was 82 in our cabin despite running the AC and keeping all the blinds closed. The pool is clean but very cold and there is no shade on the playground so go in the morning or evening if you don’t want to get burned.
Nothing nearly except a Wendy’s and a convenience store. Trains going by all night nearby.
Fine for one night, but don’t recommend an extended stay

Little cabins for the long stay, with kitchens, the 2 nice cabins come with decks. RV spots have no concrete and are bunched close together. Garbage dumpster is right in the middle of the cabin areas and is the first view out all cabin doors. Roots clogged the drain system including toilets and it took 10 hours to provide a bathroom to a very pregnant woman and was quite a ways away. I posted a review on Google stating a complaint and the very next day I was asked to leave with no direct reason. I put three stars because it has potential, everything worked except the drain and it couldn't be helped. The deer were plenty and lots of trees. A little high cost but it could be a nice place if planned better.

I worked at Priest Lake State Park as a residential biologist for the summer of 2016. It was an amazing experience! I had access to parts of the park not allowed to campers. The staff are all very friendly and nice to work with. The hand- scooped homemade ice cream is worth it alone! Kayaking up the thoroughfare to the upper lake is a great workout with some amazing and beautiful scenery and animals along the way. You will see lots of moose, and sometimes black bears. If you take the short hike to Moose lake, there is excellent rainbow trout fishing, and gorgeous scenery as well. Hunt lake trail is a beautiful trail to hike, but not for beginners. Priest Lake itself is a little chilly when first getting in to swim, but is very refreshing in the mountain heat. There are many good places to pick huckleberries all over the area! The campgrounds at the Indian Creek unit, which is where the headquarters and store are located, are very clean. There are plenty of RV and tent camping sites and 5 cabins available to rent. All cabins sleep different numbers of people, ranging from 5 to 9, the moose cabin being the largest and nicest. The cabins have no bathrooms or kitchens but boast fire rings and are right across from communal park bathrooms and showers. The lion head unit on the upper lake is about 12 miles up the road from Indian Creek turning into gravel about 8 miles up right before moose lake. It has a few smaller camper sites and many tent sites available. There is a maintenance shed along with a small ranger booth which also serves as a small store with ice and other foods and small supplies. There are first aid kits and radios available at all campground ranger booths. Priest lake has amazing fishing for rainbow trout, Mackinaw (lake trout), smallmouth bass, and Pike minnow (as the main species). The nearest town, Coolin, UD, is about 12 miles down the road. It is a small town with a store, a diner and a bar/ restaurant. The diner and restaurant have decent staple foods for what they have to offer. The store is fairly small but generally has most of the foods and supplies needed for restocking your camping food or obtaining the odds and ends you may have forgotten or overlooked at home. All around it is a beautiful place to visit with friendly staff and locals and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable family camping experience.

The park is nearby to the river trail that is paved and takes you along the Spokane river. Linens and bath towels included in deluxe cabins would be a huge plus.

LegendThis campground has been around for awhile, but is under new ownership. It’s a really unique spot right on the shores of Loon Lake in Washington State. It’s a bit remote for one night, but if you’re planning a family reunion over a long weekend or something, this would be a great spot.
They’ve got a variety of accommodations — RV spots for those that use them, plus more permanent structures like “vintage cabins and retro apartments” (this sounds a little suspicious, but I swear, they’re good enough as long as you bear in mind that this is a campground. They even have a cafe and a little store so you only have to rough it solo as much as you want to.
They have a little marina with boat slips if you have your own, or you can rent from them and take advantage of everything the lake has to offer. Due to the remote location compared to other lakes closer to the Washington State metro areas, there aren’t a ton of people on the water here at any time of year, even during holidays.
I’m not sure how tent camping would work here, I’m sure they would find a way to accommodate it if you wanted to try, but if I was in a group sans RV I’d probably splurge on a cabin and call it a day.

Water is a bit of walk from camping area, but overall thai campground is great. Hiking, fishing, swimming. Is a great place to rent a cabin with children and enjoy nature close to city.
ScoutThere are 3 campgrounds. One is a group camp that sells out quick. Reservations are 9 months in advance and it is a phone call of luck that will get you this prime area. The group camp has its own private dock and beach. The cabin has multiple bunk beds and a kitchen with fridge and range/oven. Also a microwave. 2 showers and 2 restrooms. There are RV slots available here. We love the privacy and ability to not worry about any unlocked vehicles or items left in the beach The other two sites are Lionhead and Indian Creek. Indian Creek as a store and laundry facilities. They also have a few cabins to rent. Showers and rv slots available. Lionhead is further up the road (just north of the group camp) and is a little smaller.

TravelerThis Spot i have been going to for 35 + years its operated by the county and a fee of 25 dollars is charged for basic dirt camping spot, more for RV and cabins. Sandy beach, amazing hikes through ancient ceder Forrest. For an urban campground I think this is as good as it gets.
TravelerWe booked through Airbnb. when we arrived, we learned that the campground wa San old KOA. it had a decent shower room and we stayed in a small, clean cabin right by the entrance of the park. We also saw tent campers. You could take paddle boats out onto the lake if you wanted. We had a picnic table and an area for a fire. we all had a nice time.

We got there late in the evening with no reservations but we were lucky enough to go online and book it on the spot. There are a few options. RV's and cabins. We got a tent spot, they're fenced to separate everyone. Don't quote me but I think they have canoes for people to use and a waterway to the beautiful lake. Felt safe here. I'll be coming back if I ever venture this way.
LegendThis is a great stop point before getting into Idaho. The campground was very well maintained and great to stay at. It is located in between Spokane proper and Coeur d'Alene (so Spokane Valley). There are tons of spots to choose from, but it gets pretty busy in the summer. The cabins were great and had everything you needed to get by.
There is a laundromat, store, sports area, lots of space for dogs and a game room at the main lodge. I really liked the community fire pit since there wasnt a fire pit at each site. One cool thing about this site is they have "gazebo sites" for RV campers. They also have an outdoor movie theater set up, but we werent able to take advantage of that perk.
We were able to drive a short way to Lake Coeur d'Alene for their Fourth of July events and even rented a lake boat for tubing.
Great site for families, RVers, and pet owners.

Cute campground with plenty to do and lots of amenities. Canoe and float rentals, live music on weekends. Full hook ups, clean showers and laundry too. It was perfect for our quick stop over. Only downside was no fire rings.
GuideThe camping, the grounds and the amenities are fantastic. The staff go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. The access to the lake with free canoe rental and FREE firewood are things we have not encounter anywhere else. Although we only stayed for the night, I would not hesitate to stay for a week(s)

ScoutThis place was a little confusing to find the campgrounds at first, but it was a great time. ORV trails and hiking trails, and a wonderful lake to fish and swim. There is a little trading post that you can have dinner or buy small things. No service but well needed to get away and enjoy the outdoors, the owner Rick was a wonderful caring family guy and I will definitely be back!
GuideI stayed in the tent part of the campground, and the sites (especially the first few) are awfully close. This is a great campground for camping with friends but I don't recommend it for a quiet getaway.
Regardless, I still enjoyed my time with my dog and the tent sites were nicely shaded so I wasn't baking in them. There's many hiking trails nearby to explore and you're walking distance from the lake.
TravelerLiberty Lake is great for a quick get away if you have a camping itch that you need to scratch. It is easy to get to and has everything you need. It can be crowded and the sites aren’t secluded but is beautiful in the summer and close to the lake.
The bathrooms are always clean, there’s showers, and firewood for purchase. The hiking and biking trails are solid and the waterfall is amazing.
All in all, you can’t go wrong with Liberty Lake.
RangerNice little place in the Spokane Valley close to shopping Idaho boarder. Has small outdoor pool bike rentals. Good bathroom and showers. Down side right next to train tracks though thr train didn't go by much during the day but of course it did at night blasting it's horn every time. It's a good enough place for a quick stop over on tour way to some other place not good for long stay. They did let us move to a bigger spot once we realized how close we were to our neighbors and the e kids we needed a little bigger spot and not a small patch of lawn with the neighbors slide-out 2ft from out picnic table
ScoutWe stayed here on a cool and rainy weekend in May 2022. This is beautiful campground to get away from the city. It was very quiet and the staff spaced all guests well. Thank goodness they escorted us in because I’m not sure I could have found our site on my own (small signage if any and the roadways look like sites sometimes.). The bathrooms/showers were very nice and clean, big rooms with toilet, sink and shower (big enough to grab the kids and cycle through everyone quickly). The only complaint was the water had a metallic flavor to it (after RV filter and Brita filter) so I recommend bringing drinking water. I have camped here with a tent and an RV, GREAT camp for either.
