The road in to the site is ROUGH. I had asked about this issue before booking and the owner assured me that trailers, RVs and campers could make it. We made it- but it was VERY rough. We were able to pick any site- we were the first people to arrive and only a few others arrived later in the afternoon. We found one spot that we liked but it wasn’t very level and there was a LOT of trash and leftover junk laying around. We moved to another area and it had less trash- but someone had left a rug in the area. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous. My husband wasn’t pleased with the road conditions on Smith Mesa nor on the ranch. We had to go VERY slowly to get into the area- no more than 10 MPH for the dirt portion.
