love having the showers and toilets close by great views and camping
It was pretty empty in the fall with nice leaf peeping. There are many trails, though they allow mountain bikes and ATVs, so watch out. Most people were fishing (jetskiing in summer). It’s a modern basic campgrounds with great showers. Many of the sites were along the water. Another couple said they visit frequently and it can get crazy windy, so you might want to make sure you have a decent tent (not a $30 one from the megamart). It sounds like it’s more touristy in the summer (the couple raved about fried oreos…?), but in the fall it was quite peaceful. I’d return on shoulder season but probably find somewhere else in summer, just my personal preference.
