Just west of capitol reef. Very nice campground. Well definitely be going back to this area again.

Not a bad campground, campsites fairly close to each other. Bathroom facilities were decent, clean with flush toilets. Water access was convenient. Our site was in the middle and completely exposed to the sun but the description had said there was plenty of shade. Otherwise, had of been in a site on the perimeter I would rate this place much higher. It’s no fault of theirs, just describe the sites a little better and look for one along the perimeter. Camp hosts was not there until much later in the evening, or we would had inquired about moving to another site. Not a far drive to Capitol Reef and much higher in elevation in the mountains so it was a nice relief from the heat.

We were looking for a campsite near capital reef and found this via the dyrt. This campground closes on October 15th so we got there just a few days before. Super clean, spots are spacious, camp host (Sandy) was super helpful. The flush toilets, sink and running water was such a nice addition as well. We did have to take down our tent due to weather related issues but this cg is such a gem and worth staying. $20 a night and there are only certain hours RV’s can run generators so it doesn’t get too loud

We stopped here on our way between Bryce and Arches, and what a pleasant little surprise this place was. It is beautifully quiet and peaceful, the facilities are very clean and well kept. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. It has water to refill tanks in your RV But if you want to use the dump station it’s an additional $10 Sandy who runs it is absolutely lovely - well worth a stop.

Higher elevations so cooler temperatures. Adjacent to Capital Reef National Park. $20/night. Only negative was that a lot of rigs were using generators (!)

We stopped at Single Tree Campground on our way to Capitol Reef from Bryce Canyon and it was a fantastic stay. We stayed at site 16 and our closest neighbor was probably 100ft away. Very quiet and spacious; the grounds had flushable toilets which were very clean as well as drinking water spigots and trash dumpster. The price was right at $12 for tenting, $6 for a bundle of wood. It’s a cash only but the campground host, where you pay, was able to break a $20; so exact dollars wasn’t needed. Didn’t see full RV power and water hook ups but many people had their own generators. Our stay was during the first week of August and campground wasn’t even half full. With only a handle full of sites that can be reserved, the majority of the people just drove up and easily found a spot like we did. Would definitely stay here again!

This campground sits above CR and is beautiful! It is super quite, has wonderful views, and is a bit cooler due to the elevation climb from CR. Stayed for only one night but will definitely come back for a longer visit.

This is a shaded campground with a beautiful stream that goes through the sites. Highly recommended

This was a great campground. We had one of the group sites and there was plenty of room to spread out. There are flush toilets but no showers. They did not have internet as advertised but other than that we love this site. It came complete with amazing views and a great fire pit and picnic area we even had a volleyball court in our site!

Some campsites are great, with shade and a creek that travels next to the tents. Others, particularly in the center of the loop, are not as glamorous. There is a short trail that leads to a beautiful waterfall if you follow along the creek. This campsite was pretty high in elevation, so expect colder nights.

This is an amazing place, with flush toilets, stream running near by and a weather so good that you wouldn't want to leave.

We were happy we stayed here over the Fruita Campground in Capitol Reef. It was cooler being at a high elevation, and way less crowded.

Sites were in good shape and flush toilets were clean.
