Minerals (calcium carbonate) suspended in the lake’s waters are what help create its spectacular aqua-blue color. Close To The Lake

I booked our site kind of last minute so I did not have a lot of options.  The site I was in was fine.  I have a 25 ft. trailer with a slide out and it was a little tight.  The sites that back up to the lake were all taken. The campground was busy but not completely full.  Luckily no one was in the site right behind ours so we did have a little space and privacy at our campfire.  The beach to the lake is very close and the water was nice.  We did have a nice drive around the lake and another good drive through the nearby mountains.  The bathrooms and showers are clean but the shower head sprays water all over the room.  It was difficult to keep my belongings dry while I was showering.  We enjoyed our stay here.  It was relaxing and fun.

Remote

Not an easy place to get to towing a trailer. UT State park representative oversold what was there. When we arrived logs were across the entrances making it impossible to enter or turn around. The entire east side of lake was not accessible for travel trailers. Luckily a private RV resort on the west lake side named Sun bay let us spend the night for free.

Beautiful

There's one old guy who goes around complaining and ruining people's good time, but everyone is so friendly, I was able to take my dogs and its so nice! The water is gorgeous, it's so relaxed. Im in love with this place.
