Camp site was a little awkward when tent camping. We stayed in Birch so not sure about the other sites but it seemed better suited for an RV. Our site had hardly any space for a tent if you didn’t want to sleep on rocks it was nice to be near the lake but glad we had a shaded spot. The showers…
Warm, friendly staff. Large, quiet sites among the trees and by a creek. Pleasant experience.
I found the one star review to be unfair. They didn’t even stay here. We found the host personable and helpful. The park itself is OK for an overnight stay. Not much to offer longer term stays. Sites were well spaced and wooded. Full hookups. Nice play ground for kids. Bathrooms just OK.
The site itself was great. $40 for a nonelectric, no water site is not great but alright. The fire pits don't have grills at these sites though so be aware. The river right next to the site is really nice and pretty. About ankle deep and perfect. Bathrooms were very clean as well, though kind of…
We stayed here beginning of June and their pool was open, they have pretty good water pressure and heat at the showers. Bathrooms were kinda dirty but far from the worst we’ve seen. The tent sites are just along the tree line in the grassy field, they have water and power at them. Looks like they…

We camped right up against the lazy River, the campground was pretty open because it was a weekday. Spots are kind of close, no trees or anything to separate spots. We’re used to that now haha. It had really nice bathrooms and showers. The washers and dryers work awesome, grateful for that! We paid…

Good tent site clean the staff was on top of collecting garbage. Had a few activities. Definitely need my bike next time cool rocks there to play on.
We really enjoyed this campground and has been our first trip of the year place to go not too far from home. Nice fishing lakes, we enjoy the main camp area.
I camped near Chimney rocks and Hermitage cabin and the place is truly magnificent. If you want to stay at the cabin, it looks super cute. If not, there’s a few campsites just a little bit down, close to the river and large enough for 4 double tents. There’s a lot to do near by with a town not too…
Lots of options, we chose site 222 in the Senoia loop. Beautiful campground right on the lake. Clean facilities, water was a great swimming temp. The waterfront sites are cool, ours wasn’t waterfront, but it was very flat. A lot of sites have a different level to park and then stairs to get to the…

We pulled in to camp for the weekend, nice location right on the creek. I work online so service is a must. Initial thoughts were, clean quiet, not very secluded, if we didn’t need phone service it would have been perfect place to camp
Friendly staff lots to do pretty clean peaceful
We called the campground around 5:30, we were an hour away. She said no big deal just give me a call when you get here. We arrive and she takes care of us and sells us a nice bundle of firewood. The campground has excellent service, I work online so that was a relief. Full bars on at&t and…

Nice sized spots, wooded, paved roads beautiful lake. Not a garbage can to be found park wide! Dumpster at either end that's it. Camp sink says to not leave food in sink, where exactly are you supposed to throw it away?!?!
This state park is incredibly beautiful. Tail pine and hemlock trees separate the spacious campsites. Bathrooms are spotless clean. Friend Friendly park staff. Swimming, hiking, MTB trail.
