Country Corners Campground & RV Park
Very very nice park
Well managed, clean, beautiful landscaping, level sites, clean restrooms, plenty of showers, supply store, full hookups, pet friendly, wifi in most of the park, excellent prices.
Lake Owyhee State Park offers furnished cabin rentals in two separate campgrounds: McCormack Campground and Indian Creek Campground, both located near Adrian, Oregon. These cabins feature basic electric hookups and are situated with views of the reservoir. Most provide standard amenities including beds, small tables, and minimal kitchen facilities such as hot plates and sinks. A review mentioned that "the cabins looked very nice. The larger one with the bathroom was a beautiful site." Bathroom access varies by location, with some cabins requiring guests to use communal facilities while select premium units include private bathrooms.
Rustic and deluxe cabins are both available, depending on the location. Rivers Edge RV Park provides riverside cabin options with varying levels of amenities. Standard cabins typically feature ladder access to sleeping lofts and minimal furnishings, while the larger cabin includes a bathroom. A visitor commented that "if you stay in the cabins, just a note that this is a place where you need to bring your own bedding and kitchen items, however there is a hot plate and sink, plus a microwave." Most cabin sites permit pets, though specific policies vary by campground, and reservations are strongly recommended, especially during summer months when waterfront accommodations fill quickly.
Most cabins require visitors to bring their own linens, towels, and toiletries. Kitchen facilities typically include minimal equipment like microwaves or hot plates, so guests should pack appropriate cooking supplies or plan to use outdoor fire pits when available and permitted. On-site camp stores are limited in the Adrian area, with Country Corners Campground offering a small market for basic provisions. Farewell Bend State Recreation Area, located within driving distance, provides additional cabin and yurt options with more substantial amenities, including electricity and nearby shower facilities, making it a suitable alternative for those seeking more comfortable accommodations while still enjoying the natural setting.

"That plan took me too Lake Owyhee State Park! It has to be on your list of camp grounds. The camp ground sites are flat which makes leveling a travel trailer nice or finding a smooth spot for a tent."
"We added a video to this review showing the drive to Indian Creek CG about a mile further up the road. We are seasoned 5th wheelers and went slow with no problem."

This summer we tried Rivers Edge Rv Park for the first time and had a great experience. On our drive up to Pacific Northwest in early August we did tent camping here and in late September we tried the cabins along the river. Wonderful quiet location, good hosts and amazing sunsets on the Snake River. If you stay in the cabins, just a note that this is a place where you need to bring your own bedding and kitchen items, however there is a hot plate and sink, plus a microwave. The ladder steps up to the bedroom was an adventure in itself😛 No bathrooms in the cabin, but there is a community bathroom and shower. One star off because the bathroom really does need to be updated. Shower was a bit grungy. But for everything great about this place, I know we will be back!
We stayed at site 40 at McCormack Campground of Lake Owyhee State Park. We called a few hours I heard and were told that there were several walk up so it’s available. When we arrived this has not changed. The drive up to the park is very scenic with lots of spots for flyfishing. The campground and the facilities ade clean and the views are beautiful. There is currently fire pit and grill ban but propane and butane cooktops are allowed. The water level it was long but still plenty for a swim. There were several fishing water skiing boats on the lake. Would have gladly stayed a couple more days. The only complaint was that the occupants of trailer sites above had their porch/string/rope lights on still at midnight taking away from the beauty of the night sky.
Traveling through Idaho and made this reservation online just an hour before arrival. Very simple to reserve.Â
We have a 38' 5th wheel pulled with a dually pickup. It was a tight fit, but after we were parked, it was awesome. We were in space #5. After unhooking, we did park the pickup across the lane in space they have for extra vehicles. Hook ups were simple. Although the sewer pipe at our site was a little high, so we had to really use risers under our drain pipe to get it to that level. Other sites seemed ground level.Â
When we left the next morning, we did have to pull out the "entrance" lane, as the angle of the space and smaller area, we couldn't turn sharp enough for the exit lane.Â
We could watch the sunset over the Snake River from out campsite. No bugs and lots of shade. Quiet campground.......except the duck hunters on other properties. Â
We didn't use the restrooms, etc. there.Â
They have very nice metal fire pits and a decent picnic table at each site. If you needed to stay in a cabin, they looked very nice. The larger one with the bathroom, was a beautiful site. Â
The price was great, especially for full hookups. I wish we could have stayed more than one night.
We would definitely stay there again.
Best little Campgound in the area! Sits right on the Snake River, large grassy area with lots of shade, Cabins, tent sites, limited full hookups, electric, covered picnic tables, small boat dock, 2 horseshoe pits excellent catfishing, supplied fire rings (you can buy wood there), they just added a TeePee! The host, Turk, and his wife, Meghan, are absolutely, by far the best camp hosts we've ever dealt with. Dogs are allowed. BEST SUNSETS EVER!
Living in Idaho near the border of Idaho, I was looking for a great catfishing spot on the Snake River. I found this campground along the Snake just on the other side of the border - eastern Oregon. The campgrounds are AWESOME!!! The have all the amenities for RV camping. They do have tent camping sites as well. There is some great history of the area and we were appreciative of how the State Park system displayed it. Great fishing for the shore angler as well as boat anglers. I fished from my kayak and caught crappie and catfish as well as some smallmouth bass. I would definitely camp here again. They do have a dump station for RVs as well as restrooms. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table.
The cabin we reserved for two nights was such a disappointment, becasue of the time we arrived we forced ourselves to stay one night. The floors were not clean and sleeping on the bed provided was like sleeping on a pie tin. it crinkled and cracked everytinme you moved. The cabin door you could not lock and the bathroom was unbelievably dirty. The shower was more like a drip.
We arrived for our weekend mid-afternoon on Friday. Parked our trailer in our designated spot in the middle of the grassy area near the horseshoe pits. After unloading, setting up and taking a walk around the park (down to the river, dock, beach area, etc) it became obvious that this was not the place we expected it to be based on other reviews!
We decided to give it some time and benefit of the doubt. Made dinner and ate outside (weather was perfect). During dinner we were treated to the drunken, LOUD ramblings of other campers - complete with foul language at the highest volume possible! Permanent residents at the back of the park left a lot to be desired. Messy camp sites.
There are no hiking trails or places to explore. If you don't have a camp spot right on the water, fishing access is horrible - only super shallow, reed-filled openings. Certainly not what we expected from a riverfront park with great reviews. The fishing dock is a joke, the water near and around the dock is a filthy, grime filled, trash collecting mess!
Tried to get our child to bed before 10pm but was virtually impossible with the level of noise coming from the group area (which was across the park, mind you), not to mention music streaming loudly from several other campers all around. 10pm quiet hour does not seem to matter to the hosts who did nothing to help those of us who expect rules to be followed.
By first thing in the morning, we had found another camp site to flee to and we couldn't get out of there fast enough!
Never again will we be back. Never again.
Though not free like the dispersed camping the dog and I were doing the days before this, it was a treat to have warm showers, bathrooms, a fenced dog exercise area, the security of other campers, and a picnic table to cook on. I stayed in a more "isolated" campsite with a tree screen from the other sites, because my dog is very protective. But it looked like there were great view sites further in the campgrounds, for those who don't need the privacy. There was easy river access from the camp and you can hear the coyotes yipping in the morning.
