Amish campsite

Very small campgrounds literally next to if not part of a corn field extremely cramped back if our camper was 2ft from the camper behind us and 15 ft from the campers left to right. When we left we had to knock on camper doors to ask folks to move their cars so we could pull out of out parking…

Easy off the highway stopover

This was a nice place to stop for a few days on my drive west into Ohio. I knew nothing about the campground prior to this visit. My next time I will stay in camping area B or C now that I have seen the layout. There is no hiking trail to the lake unless you use a horse trail which I did. If you…

Nice little State Park

Tomlinson Run is a small state park situated in the northern panhandle of West Virginia nestled between eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. Plenty of things to do there including but not limited to…. Mini golf, hiking trails, biking, swimming, fishing, paddle boats, parks for the kids, and of…

Clean and convenient getaway

Last weekend we stayed at Tappan Lake Park in Deersville Ohio. We reserved a spot in the “new section 5” of the park. I haven’t been to Tappan lake in probably 15 years with a RV. I have to say I was very happy with the facilities (restrooms, showers, and laundromat). The park was relatively…

Zero would be better!

So my daughter and I love camping and converted our minivan to a camping van just so we can hop in and go at a whim!  Let me start by saying, the 3 times we stayed, there were LOUD parties each and every time!  There are no rules, apparently, and the locals know it is their backyard party place. …

Beautiful View

We camp at West Branch yearly with our grandsons. This is our second year on site 163. We love the view of the lake. Unfortunately, this year the poison ivy was abundant in the woods surrounding our site, and I was concerned the boys or the dog might get into it. There are raised roots near the pad…

Campervan with kids

Many many unlevel spots in nonelectric sites. Only one playground in full hookup RV area, hard to get to. Beach access hike is at least 1.7 miles walk from loop C. You have to drive to many of the hikes and beach especially if you have children. Positives are it's very quiet. You don't see many…

Salt Fork Primitive camp sites

Plenty of nice park in lot and walk to sites. All on the edge of the woods, surrounding small open fields.

In the heart of Amish Countryside

Grateful we found room on the BZ labor day weekend.

Such a wonderful and welcoming staff.

Needed to trim some overhead branches and they came right over to take care of it. Outstanding welcome

Water pressure was low, they came right over with a new back flow valve to remedy.

SPOTLESS…

Clean and fun.

We stay here a couple of times per year and every time it’s a blast. The swimming pond has inflatables and boat rentals. There’s good fishing, and typically lots of activities. The place is clean and friendly with a pretty good selection at the camp store.

Way overpriced

Look around the area for other options.

This place has always been overpriced and over advertised.

Great spot for a great price

Great spot. Only $30 for 2 nights. Has electric hook up but not a water hook up. Does have fresh water in different areas of the campground for use. Would camp here again.

Lovely, wooded campground and park

We enjoyed our three-day stay at Raccoon Street State Park in Pennsylvania. We used it as a jumping off point to explore Pittsburgh.

The campground is large and wooded, with good-sized sites. There are five different loops, so campsites are well-spread out throughout the area. One tip: each loop…

Good Sam 10-10-10

Campground is well manicured; quiet; spacious sites; and near Canton (which is why we chose it). It has a 10-10-10 rating with Good Sam and I understand why. Would definitely stay here again.
