There is a FULL schedule of themed activities for the kiddos, weekly. You’ll also a well stocked store as well as a really good restaurant/bar on site. The purple section is the quietest and the blue is closest to the activities. The river is not accessible from the sites on the river as you must…
Very quiet, well maintained campground. Easy to maneuver our rig into. Restrooms& laundry room were very nice. Direct access to Lake Champlain. This is a hidden gem in that area!
In the surrounding area we did the Ausable Chasm(Gorge Tour), Lake Placid sites, and Burlington, Vermont…
Wouldn't recommend this location unless you're really looking for a stop.
Because all the sites start with a very obscure pull out, you have no way of knowing what your site will look like. The first site I ended up pulling into BARELY had space for my sedan to turn around, and it was so muddy…
Beautiful meadow campsites overlooking the valley. Firepits and tent platforms are in place although most of the sites are drive-in. If you’re looking for a picture perfect campsite with a view this is the place for you!
We arrived on a Tuesday with no reservations. We had our pick of sites and no issues staying for 2 days. There were several sites reserved starting Thursday and Friday so the weekend looked to be busier. We only had one other camper on our loop the first night and no one the second. Sites were…

Great campground if you want to shop at the outlets to the south or hang out in the village of Lake George to the north. There is a huge bike path that leads to the village and the outlets. Our campsite was close to the road with quite a bit of noise from the traffic but the campers were friendly…
We had a full hookup, pull through site surrounded by trees. There was some road noise during the day but it was nice and quiet at night. The bathhouses looked very "rustic" but we didn't use them. Nice field, swings and small palyground for kids. Close to hiking and Lake Placid!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Sites were really wooded, quiet, level, and spread out. Staff were super-helpful. And Ft. Ticonderoga and Lake George are right around the corner.
We got crappy cell service, and the camp wifi was spotty- but hey, we were camping, right?
Moosalamoo Campground is smack in the middle of the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, in the Green Mountains of VT. 18 campsites, 8 of which are first come, first serve. Ample toilets and potable water available. There is a grassy area in the center of the campground—great for kids, gatherings,…
We arrived late but had a reserved lot. Perfect campfire set up for cooking, wood was easily available. It was raining and cold yet showers were fine.

We chose this site for convenience to the size flags park and that was about all it was good for. Very friendly staff and a pool. However it was so close to the thruway we could have been on top of it and for the price I was not impressed.
About 12 sites off National Forest Road 71. Beautiful area and very secluded. All have fire rings but that’s about it. Make sure to have a backup plan during the mud season and treat your skin and clothes during black fly season

A beautiful setting on Schroon Lake. The sites are small. They are great for tents and smaller Rv’s. Truck campers would also fit in nicely. They do have showers and flush toilet shut no hookups. The park has a sandy beach and canoe and kayak rentals.
The water sites are a little small but still a nice overall campground.
Nice little spots to hangout all day. Lots to see, and explore.
