      Well maintained campground

Stayed here here for one night in early September during our trip to Wyoming. Paid $10 with interagency senior discount. Stayed in the B Loop. We were one of 5 campers here; camped in a camper van. Our sie, B46, was close to a clean vault toilet (which has tp). Short walk to clean restroom/shower house; this building also has a laundry room. The sites have a level gravel driveway; most sites are back-in. Spacing between sites is okay; no privacy between sites. Even though the campground is along a lake, the sites at B Loop offer no lake views. Hosts seemed friendly. Did not see any hiking opportunities at this loop. There is a path to the lake at the back end of the loop. There is nothing special about this campground, but it is a good, clean, quiet location for an overnight stay. I had excellent T-Mobile 5G service. I would stay here again.

Nice place, but just didn't care for how much the cops drove threw nonstop, we are camping to get away from people and doesn't make me feel at peace wondering why so many cops always drive thru.

Friendly, clean and close to the freeway

Nice to spend the night. Friendly staff and clean bath/shower facilities. Close proximity to the interstate does come with some traffic noise. Many retail options within a short drive.

      Good spot

We offer a perspective on RV camping "off peak" (late fall and early spring).  This KOA has a nice eastern exposure for morning sun, and lots of pull through sites.  On the downside, if you're sensitive to nearby road noise, there's a lot of Jake Brakes on I-70 which, at least in the absence of tree foliage, is all over the park.

      Family fun

This campground would get 5 stars for being family friendly and the activities they have for kids. 3 stars for grumpy old people who don’t like kids noises past 8pm, lol. Staff were pleasant and sites were level. Close together typical of KOA. Did not use the facilities. Wifi is marginal. Right off the interstate, so the truck noises were there Clean, safe, would stay again if passing thru.

      Beautiful and quiet

This campsite is beautiful. Loop B is much quieter with fewer guests. Loop A is a little more busy. Loop A: 2 smaller loops of campsites. A17,18,19 are very close to a little walkway that goes down to the lake. These spots are very hot and sunny in the morning, but shaded in the afternoon. Loop A has 1 set of nonflushable toilets that were surprisingly clean. Loop B: this is where the shower house and flushable toilets are. Showers were clean and water was hot. Showers had good water pressure. Loop B also has the playground which is right behind site B47. It’s a newer playground and all equipment was nicely maintained. There are no swings. Only complaint is that there are no benches or picnic tables at the playground so bring your camping chair if you plan to stay awhile. Further past Loop B the road turns to gravel and there is a parking lot with a walkway to the lake. This offers some small bluffs with deep water for jumping off. If you walk further around the corner to the right, it turns into a nicer “beach” style area with few rocks, although the mud can be a little thick after it rains. When we were here (July) the lake was pretty muddy but I’m not sure if it’s always that way or not. It was also pretty low, but still had plenty of fun and kayaked through all the little coves.

      Awesome Corps park

Outstanding park! Huge sites, brand new poswer poles, shaded, amd well patrolled for am extra feeling of safety. We had a great weekend! In the A amd B loops, very minimal cell service and very little opportunity to stream on the TVs. I also couldn't get any over the air channels but we weren't there to watch TV!

      Wonderful Camp Site

Just got back from 2 nights and could not be more pleased with the experience.  Very well layout grounds, well marked camp sites, excellence shower, flush toilets and washer/dryer available and all public areas were very clean.  I was at B lot Site 17 but would be better if water hookup was also at each site although public facet was close.  Besides that, it was a wonderful weekend.  Highly recommend this campground to anyone.

      Nice updated campsites A Loop

Truman Lake was flooded three years ago, since then Sparrowfoot has been completely updated with new water and 110V/30A/50A hook-ups. It seems since the updates many of the sites would be considered Family Sites as many are adjoined. We are at A21 which is fine, but very close to the next site. However, A19 has a better lakeview. Our host Ron and Karen drove by to chat and said they'd move us to A-19 (which is already reserved). We may take them up on it if it doesn't effect the other campers. There is a "Cozy Corner" RV Park just outside the entrance to supposedly get supplies; although sign said OPEN no one was there. So the Host gave us firewood free and we gathered plenty of driftwood for our fires. Walmart and town is just a few minutes away. At 12:30am I can hear distance hiway traffic. But the site is dead quiet on a Wednesday night too. We checked the showers and toilet s, they were clean and had just been hosed down. Fishing from our site is abou 200'. A19 is about 100'. As I write this I can hear the coyotes coming in. Water pressure is great, electrical is fine. Dump station is about 3 minutes away. The coyotes are getting close so I'm wrapping up to go inside. We are SUPER stoked to go fishing in the morning and check out the Dam and area shoppes. We will definitely be back, only 90 min. drive from KC area.

      Nice C.O.E. CG

Nice COE campground. Sites were spacious with 50 Amp hook ups. Some sites had been receantly redone, new grass, rock pads and elec pedestals. There was no CG host so the reason for a one star for service but park was quiet and had no problems. Clean rest rooms and showers. We were on our way to Branson so it was just a one night stop. We camped at Sparrowfoot in a Travel Trailer.12.00@ Night with America The Beautiful pass.

      Nice campground

The bathrooms are nice, fully functioning toilet, sink, and shower.  The sites have nice trees for shade and are nicely spaced for hammocking.  We went during the end of the usual camping season and had no problem getting a spot and didn't have anyone beside us.  It was nice to hear the aircrafts from the base and next time we will bring our kids so they can experience it too.  We will be returning since it was such a nice place with everything we needed.

      Small tent campsites, large campground

Easy to reserve online, but the camp registration office was closed when we rolled in right after 5. The tent campsites are just a small patch of turf, but they do have tables and a nice fire pit. It was a little noisy as everyone was on top of each other and we did get a little bit of sewage smell at our site. Pool and mini golf are awesome!

      Nice campground

When I was there, had called ahead to reserve a spot. When I got there, there was no one to help me, one of the campers came and directed me to a campsite. The grass was knee high, trash had not been picked up and the firepit had trash in it from the previous campers. I never did meet the owners, but I had great neighbors and enjoyed my stay. Don't think I would go back.
