Dworshak Lake is 54 miles long, hosts kokanee salmon, rainbow trout and small mouth bass fishing. It has excellent boating, water skiing and hunting opportunities.
Dent Acres is an excellent location for boaters, fishermen, hunters, hikers, wildlife watching, as well as quiet relaxation. There is a boat ramp for access to the reservoir, multiple trails for hiking, and thousands of surrounding acres of public lands for the hunter.
Dent Acres features 49 pull through camping sites and one back-in only site. The campground can accommodate everything from tent camping to large RVs. All sites have water and 50/30 amp electricity hookups as well as sewage hookups, a fire pit and a covered picnic table. The campground offers flush toilets and a shower house. Adjacent to the campground is a playground and plenty of open space for activities. There are also flush toilet restrooms and a fish cleaning station located near the boat ramp. There are several large trash dumpsters near the boat dock. There is a large reservable sun shelter, which can accomodate up to 75 people. Pets are recquired to be under owner's physical control and on a 6 foot leash at all times. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Check in time is 3pm, Check out time is 1200 (noon).
Dworshak Reservoir is surrounded by steep forested, mountainous country. Numerous small creeks feed the reservoir.

n 1922, the Schmidt Brothers Mill constructed a sawmill and logging operation to take advantage of the wealth of timber in the area. This multi acre site incorporated homes for roughly 20 families, a mill office, a post office, cook shack, bunk house for single men, gas pump house, public well house and other small buildings, besides large lumber drying area. The mill ran continuously on this site for 50 years. For the past 40 years, it has remained as wetland and pasture land until the Mary Lou Deyo Family generously donated this land. The Deyo Dam was finished in 2011, creating the 55 acre reservoir, and the campground was finished in 2013.
Deyo Campground is closed for the 2022 camping season. It will be open for reservations starting April 1, 2023 for the camping season starting May 1, 2023 !

Pink House Recreation Site is a large developed site located approximately 5 miles west of Orofino, ID. Nestled beside the Clearwater River at an elevation of 980 feet, the Pink House Recreation Site is surrounded by scenic views of semi-arid hillsides, and the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. Visitors come to this site from all over the country to enjoy camping, world class fishing, boating, tubing, swimming, picnicking, and wildlife viewing. Lucky visitors may encounter a river otter swimming by or see eagles soaring above. The site is open year-round and a full-time Campground Host is present. Campers can opt to pay overnight camping fees at the site through the free, easy-to-use www.Recreation.gov mobile app using the ___scan and pay___ option. Selecting a camping site at Pink House Recreation Site will remain first-come, first-served; they will not be reservable in advance through Recreation.gov.__
This area is popular for boaters, anglers, wildlife watching, as well as for quiet relaxation. The site is home to one of the most heavily used boat launching sites upstream from Lewiston, Idaho. Guests have immediate access to the Clearwater River, home to world-renowned salmon and steelhead fisheries attracting anglers from around the world. Tubing is one of the most popular activities on the section upstream of Orofino due to the river___s mellow rapids and accessibility. With over 10 access sites along the Clearwater River to put-in and take-out, recreationists have the option to float on the river as long as they desire.__
Pink House Recreation Site can accommodate RV and tent camping. This site features 15 RV sites with full-hookups - water, electricity (30-amp connection), and sewer. Each site has standing BBQ grills, picnic tables, and fire rings. Two of the RV sites are pull-through, while the rest are back-in only. Two of the back-in only RV sites are accessible. Pink House Recreation Site also features three tent campsites with standing BBQ grills as well as picnic tables and fire rings. All three tent campsites have excellent views of the Clearwater River. There is a concrete boat ramp, which provides access to the Clearwater River year-round. If you are just visiting for the day, there is ample parking for vehicles including trailers.__ Several water hydrants, providing potable water, are distributed throughout the site. There are also several toilets (flush and vault) and two dumpsters on-site.__ There are two accessible group pavilions for day-use only. The pavilions are reservable through Recreation.gov. Canyon Creek offers 17 primitive sites (no electricity or water) with fire rings, picnic tables and a tent pad in a wooded setting located on the reservoir. Canyon Creek has one boat launch with a dock, two restrooms, “Pack It In-Pack It Out” bags, and a trail. Swimming is allowed at the boat ramp. Canyon Creek is the perfect place to camp with well shaded sites. Canyon Creek is a “Pack It In-Pack It Out” area there are no dumpsters or garbage cans available for use. Please help keep the park clean by taking your trash with you when you leave.

Currently the forest is open to dispersed camping in most areas. Limited motorized access for dispersed camping or parking may be allowed from the centerline of designated roads (300 feet) and designated trails (100 feet).
Camping in dispersed sites is limited to a total of 18 days of use. Camps must be moved to a minimum of 5 miles from the original site to qualify for a new 18-day limit; camps cannot be returned to the original sites within 45 days [36 CFR 261.58(a)].
