Perfect beach camping

If you can handle the Florida mosquitos, this will be heaven. It’s just a little gravel road walk from your tent to the stocked lake or the Atlantic beach. Well maintained. Although you have to (get to?) pass a strip club on your way in the park.

So much to do!

Beautiful family friendly beach camping. The store hours are a bit unusual but between the beach, the various parks with paddle board and kayaking options you never have to leave!

Lots of room in sites!

The park was so big for being right outside Jacksonville, FL. We were expecting it to be mor urban instead you are completely surrounded by nature. We forgot we were so close to “the city”!

The store had several items, ice and wood were easy to come by, geocaching and playground for the kids. Sites were huge- we got 2 sites for our large family but could have easily done with one.

State Park

This campground is a state park that is in the woods of beautiful Florida trees. It is a short walk or bike ride to the beach! It did not have phone service or internet! The placement of sites, and no signage of direction to drive made it difficult to settle in.

One the beach

They have sites on a lake" swimming is allowed but I'm not into dark water. There are trails and beautiful beach. Play ground fishing swimming bath houses.

great fun at the beach

awesome park, plenty of sites. have to pick and choose not the best for getting in and out of. we had a 36 ft. wheel and got in our site. plenty to do, beach , trails, fishing, great for bike riding. playground.

Gorgeous

Loved this campground. Large sites with privacy in between. Beautiful woods and breathtaking beach area. Definitely will be back

Trails and Beach

Miles of biking/hiking trails at this park. Great quick getaway for those living in the Jacksonville metro area.

First to Review
Nice shady camp ground within walking distance to the beach.

The RV sites have full hook up with a lot of them being pull through sites. There are three bath houses within the campground, a camp store, and several playgrounds. The campground is situated next to a large lake, with fishing allowed. Nice beach area with in walking distance or short drive of the camp sites.
