Colorado Parks & Wildlife manages this established campground within Lone Dome State Wildlife Area, providing drinking water, toilets, and a dump station for RVs up to 22 feet. The forested setting includes open terrain areas near a creek, offering varied camping conditions. Access requires navigating forest roads typical of the region's backcountry locations.
Campers seeking different amenities can explore San Juan National Forest Ferris Canyon Campground, located less than a mile east with additional forest service facilities.
