I found a beach and discovered a campsite

I wanted a moment of peace after a tough start to my morning and I found a roadside pull off with a beach. I spent a long time there and it was so peaceful I thought to myself rather than pushing on through all the construction ahead which had brought me nothing but headache all morning instead making this a stop and taking in the beauty.

That’s when I discovered this stop was literally moments up the same stretch of beach as Elk Creek, thanks to a campground locator.

I spent the day by the water and camped just beside the area and could hear the gentle waves it was ideal!

  • I just couldn't get enough of these views and spent much of the day just taking them in and writing a bit.
