    SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

White Oak Lake State Park Campground provides pet-friendly camping with clean facilities and lakeside views. Pets must remain leashed at all times throughout the park. Campsites offer water hookups, electric service, and fire rings with designated areas for tent and RV camping. Bathrooms and shower facilities are exceptionally well maintained and clean. The campground features paved roads with level RV spots, though sites are positioned close together with limited privacy between them. Most campsites offer views of the lake, and fishing opportunities are available directly from the shoreline. Visitors can expect a quiet atmosphere, especially during off-peak seasons.

Lake Columbia RV Park and Magnolia RV Park LLC also welcome pets with full hookup sites for RVs. The camp supervisor at Lake Columbia is known for being helpful and accommodating. Sugar Creek Hunt Camp offers free dispersed camping for pet owners seeking a more primitive experience with vault toilets and trash receptacles but no hookups. The road to this site contains large potholes requiring careful navigation, especially at night. Corney Lake South Shore Campground provides lakeside primitive camping with shared parking areas and water access. Sites here are not clearly marked but include picnic tables, some with metal fire rings and lantern poles. Some campers report sporadic cell service in these areas.

Huckleberry Hideaway Cabins & RV Resort – Primitive Tent Camping & RV Sites in Minden, LA

      Peaceful Retreat

Huckleberry hide is a little piece of heaven. You feel relaxed, your own private space, staff that are very friendly, you have trails to roam with your dog. They’re not long, but they’re really good. There’s restrooms and laundry room if needed near the front. They have a little dog park where your dog’s able to run off leash. If your dog is in training or sport training, they have a little thing up there set up as well. They got a little market when I accidentally forgot to get diced tomatoes when I was making spaghetti. That was a lifesaver. We have stayed at a cabin, which was nice and spacious. I had to get my mattress pad out for the bed, but overall it was a great cabin. Kristie has a little basket of snacks, a hairdryer, shaving cream, a razor, and a few other things underneath the cabinet in the bathroom in the cabin, just in case you forgot anything. This place has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a tea, kettle coffee maker, like a little coffee bar. My husband loved that part. She had the trash bags and little odd in things that you wouldn’t think about there just in case you needed it. They thought so far ahead. Even salt, pepper, and some spices that are a lifesaver as well when you don’t have everything you need from home. They have really went above and beyond. There’s a hot tub here. And 6 miles away at their private home you can schedule a two hour swim. You have to pay a little fee for it. You also can get a longer time again pay a little fee for it. I have not done that yet, but I am hoping to very soon. They have electric, sewer, water hook ups for an RV set up for you here. By the pond has to be 30 foot long so it can fit as well as park car. Long length available in the front area. If you haven’t tried this place before you really need to put it on the list. You won’t regret it. It is a little expensive for a week. It’s amazing. The Wi-Fi is not that great. So if you’re just needing a little time out from your phone and from life, it would be perfect for you. If you need to work, bring a little Wi-Fi booster and you’ll be perfectly fine. Great place in my books!

      Logoly State Park Campground

      Peaceful introduction to nature

Logoly is a tiny state park located just outside of Magnolia, Arkansas. There is limited tent camping but it provides an excellent location for a quiet and "private" experience. The park is very clean and appears relatively unused. Traffic is very low. The area is surrounded by trees and the location itself is limited in amenities. There is a nature house nearby that is open to the public for free during operating hours. It houses various small animals such as a crocodile, snakes, spiders, and lizards. Logoly is good for kids who need a tame introduction to nature. With trails, its a good place to take a day trip.

White Oak Lake State Park Campground

      Lake view site!!

This was a little park but still worth the drive. It has really nice bathrooms towards the front. Like the best I have ever seen before!! The camp site we chose was right on the lake and it had a dock as well for fishing. The trails we're cool too nicely wooded. If you go on the longer trail check in at the front first before and after you get back. That way they know you made it safely back. What I did not realize was that there is a gun range close by... That did freak my dogs out a bit. So I would go back but maybe chose a different site. Oh and it is good bass fishing. One of our friends caught about 8 decent sized ones.

White Oak Lake State Park Campground

Lovely park; I skipped the best part!

We had a great weekend at White Oak Lake, enjoying having the tents-only loop to ourselves, fishing (some basic tackle is available in the Visitor Center), meeting friendly people on the playground, being around lake scenery and wildlife. However, due to rain and our travel schedule we left without going to the nearby Little Grand Canyon, and I kick myself for it every time I think of it. Google Arkansas Little Grand Canyon at White Oak Lake to see this amazing rock formation. I would love to go back.

      Cinnamon Creek RV Park

Basic parking with full hook ups

On a highway in a very impoverished small town. Road noise constant. Clean. Gravel parking area pull throughs with full hook ups. Mostly filled with residents. Office was closed. No gate, no security. Called number to check in and seemed to ruin older woman's day by calling. "Grass" to walk dogs was solid stickers. Broken fence leading into a Mexican restaurant next door featured many loud drinkers wandering their parking area. Felt unwelcome, not very safe, and won't return. Left at sunrise.

      Secluded primitive camping

Great primitive camping right by the lake. A few good spots to park boats/boards on the bank steps away from the campsite. Restroom with no sink or showers. Running water on site. Boat ramp is large concrete. Free to camp. Great spot to pitch a tent and get away from it all

      Bois D'Arc Lake Wildlife Area

      Dispersed campsies

Dispersed campsites around the lake. Zero services or amenities. No dumpsters, no water, no restrooms. ATT phone service is very limited. I have 1 bar. Very nice area, with boat ramp. At night, I listened to an owl close by and coyotes in the distance.
