Best RV Parks & Resorts near Batesville, AR

We love this campground. We love having direct access to creek. It is kayak, family, pet friendly. The only thing it is lacking is internet connection, which for us is a plus for disconnecting. All sites are reasonably level. Site F is the premium and most secluded full hook up site. They have all levels of sites: primitive, water and electric, or full. Their small store has firewood and many other convenient items for sale. We take our own kayaks, but they do have rentals. They have public showers and restrooms, but the restrooms are currently closed due to renovations. It’s really one of our favorite local sites to camp.

Mountain View is a great small town in the Arkansas Ozarks. This is not the place to come if you have to be entertained but can make your own fun or settle back and relax. Whitewater RV Park sounds exciting, high speed but no. Time to kickback, read a book, head to the square and listen to the ozark mountain music they are famous for. You can find all kinds of things to do and a place to stay is at Whitewater RV Park on a quiet town street not that far off from the court square. Free WiFi and if you pay extra you can get high speed wireless. Cable tv, pull through sites, dump station, full hook ups, laundry, shower house, flush toilets. This park has mature trees with lots of shade. It is located walking distance from the courthouse which is in the middle of the square. Granted it is UP the hill but it makes for a nice walk. In the square during the season you will often find locals and visitors picking and singing. It is a treat and free for the enjoyment. Mountain View also has one of the few remaining Drive In movie theaters. Check this place out for the weekly and monthly rates. Stay six nights and get seventh one free. For a small town Mountain View has so much to offer it’s guests. It brings our minds to days gone be. Weekends will find pickers on the square or concerts at Ozark Folk Center. Few campgrounds have pools but you can find a creek to dip your toes in. You have your choice of stand up paddle board canoe kayak Loco Ropes mountain biking hiking antiquing movie’s trail rides fishing I think you have the idea. MOVIES. Mountain View has a movie theater and one of the few drive in theaters left in th USA. Both offer first run movies.

This is an older private campground that is very well maintained right on the river. Peaceful tranquil setting with owners/operators on site that are very friendly. Bath houses are private and immaculate. RV sites are full hook up 50 amp. RV sites are spacious and nightly rate is a great value. Highly recommend

This is a nice RV park situated perfectly near the downtown Mountain View Area and the Ozark Folk Center State Park. It is a small, quiet park with lots of spots for gathering in groups. RV sites are level, have concrete pad and tables. You can request a fire ring. There is a bathhouse, but we didn’t use it. Very clean, lots of trees, and WiFi!

It's only minutes from Searcy and is extremely peaceful and serene! We highly recommend Whitney Lane RV Park!

Step back in time for childhood memories. This campground is along side a busy city street which can be loud but will quieter down after the work day ends. At Green Acres you will not find a swimming pool or a fancy playground. What you will find is laid back friendly owners and pricing from the 70’s or 80’s. Offer full hook ups weekly monthly rates. Stay six nights get seventh free. Laundry area, mature trees. Shopping and dining with in walking distance  Mountain View is a great little town for all kinds of fun. Really, you just have to check it out. For a small town Mountain View has so much to offer it’s guest. It brings our minds to days gone by. Nice clean, small RV park at Highway 67/167 and CW Road in Judsonia, one exit north of the Searcy Race Street exit. 30 spaces total with 3 pull through sites. No internet or laundry on-site but the electrical set up is good. Water and sewer are in good locations but the water connection box was holding water during our stay. Daily, weekly, or monthly rates available. My Verizon LTE hotspot averaged between 5 and 10 Mbps down and 0.8 to 1.6 up. My Verizon 5g phone averaged 75 to 85 Mbps down and 28 to 35 Mbps up. One of my neighbors was on a T-mobile 5g hotspot and was consistently over 50 Mbps download.

If you are in Mountain View to take it vantage of all of the music going on in the small town, Court and Square RV park is where you want to be. It’s quiet, Centrally located with an easy walking distance at the courthouse Square, and the staff cannot be beat for friendliness! Be sure to ask when the picking is at the park, and come prepared with your country/mountain/bluegrass music and instruments; they encourage participation.

It’s a well maintained park. Lots of varied camper/ tv spots. All have electricity and a handful have water too. The pads are hard packed with a picnic table chained down on it. Our tent was too big for the pad and we couldn’t move the picnic table far enough away to set up on the pad. Great for rvs. Out house needed cleaning bad. And the bathhouse had some holes in floor and other structural damage.

Most of the sites here are great. The G loop is right by the water. Some of the sites were underwater while we were there, but G2 was perfect.

The site had everything we wanted. Trees for our hammock, large level site, near the water for our kayak, and great views of the lake. There is no electricity at these sites. You will need to bring water. The bathrooms are a short distance away.

You can’t beat this location on Greer’s Ferry.

We chose this campground because of its proximity to the Ozark Folk Center. We are here for the Bluegrass and Fried Chicken festival this weekend at the center. It is within walking distance with a secret walkthrough from the campground to the Folk Center grounds. It’s not the closest campground to the square where musicians gather on Saturdays for some impromptu jam sessions, but it’s not far at all. Overall our site is well-maintained and we have full hookup. We use T-Mobile for cell phone service and I have not one single bar of service sitting here, but we have STARLINK satellite internet and in our site, next the the front entrance of the campground, we have a great signal. The owners are new and are fantastic to work with. Overall we have enjoyed our visit thus far and will likely visit again.

Decent campground with excellent trout fishing! The campground layout was kinda weird and the dump station was in an odd spot. However, we had a nice river front site that we really enjoyed. Lots of nice people in the campground and on the river. Be sure to visit the hatchery across the street. . Limited AT&T service. Individual Private suite style bathrooms. Playground. No store, no firewood for sale. Level sites. Several sites have covers over the picnic tables. .

Great place to take the family. Water hook ups , electric , dumping station . Camp in tents , rvs. No pets. Camping along the Spring river with excellent waterfront views. Small store on the campground for necessities and close enough to local shopping in town.

Nice place but he's a little high on price for electric only hookups. Tent is $10 a night and $5 a head. Camper/rv is $15 a night + $15 a night for electric and $5 a head. But its right on spring River and has a brand new boat ramp.

If using GPS the address will take you to the campground.  A lot of the sites are double sites which puts you in close proximity to your neighbor.  The campground has a large number of trees giving most campsites a shaded area.  Picnic table are large concrete tables and site pad are on the older side.  There is also a fish cleaning station at the sites.  Bathroom and shower facility is fairly new.

The boat launch is large with a lot of parking for trailers and boats.  There is a nice, large group shelter that can be reserved.  When we were there the park had very few visitors.  The Greers Ferry area is, some would say, remote but in Arkansas we just consider it typical "out in the country".  Edgemont proper is located on the north side of Greers Ferry Lake and has a population of less than 1000 people.  The main draw for this area is water sports including fishing.  There are several sights to see in the area and the drive in the rolling small country towns will be a delight.  Check out the towns of Heber Springs, Mountain View, Batesville and so many more.  Pack a lunch or stop at one of the many mom and pop diners.

Greers Ferry Lake has over 30,000 acres of crystal clear water so whether you fish, dive, water ski or boat it is a beautiful, natural spot to kick back in.
