OK RV Park
One night stay
This was an okay Campground. The dog park needs some work. The little town of Holbrook is pretty cool and there is a great Navajo Historical Society Museum... Definitely worth a visit.

Crystal Forest Campground near Petrified Forest National Park accommodates tent and RV campers with pets for $25 per night with 30-amp electric hookups. The campground features level gravel parking spaces with picnic tables and allows multiple pets with no breed restrictions. Several campsites are arranged as pull-through or back-in spots, making access convenient for RVers traveling with animals. The sites are positioned just 2 miles from the national park entrance, providing excellent access for visitors exploring the area with their dogs. Overnight guests report feeling safe and enjoying stargazing opportunities while their pets remain comfortable.
Multiple dispersed camping options exist for budget-conscious travelers with animals. Crystal Forest Museum and Gifts offers free overnight parking for self-contained RVs with pets, while 5 Mile Wash BLM dispersed camping allows tent and RV camping with pets at no cost. These primitive sites lack amenities but accommodate pets without additional fees. Holbrook/Petrified Forest KOA provides full-service camping with pets allowed and includes amenities like showers, toilets, hookups, and a market. JoeStar Ranch Under Milky Way allows pets and campfires on their property. Most locations have strict policies requiring campers to keep pets leashed when outside vehicles, and some areas prohibit fires entirely due to regional fire hazards. Highway noise can be noticeable at certain locations, particularly at 5 Mile Wash BLM dispersed sites, so position camping setups strategically when traveling with noise-sensitive animals.

Stayed here Nov 21-23, 2021.
Firstly, these sites are pretty tight. They are level, but tight. All gravel. Secondly, there's nothing for dogs. They may advertise as pet friendly, but it's really just not. There's an area designated for a pet walk, but it's just not a pet walk at all. You have the option to pay an extra $20 for a site that includes a little area for your doggo, but it's about a 4x4 cage with fake grass. Really only big enough for a toy chihuahua to comfortably use it for potty time. The restrooms were clean and decent. Wifi decent. Laundry facility decent. This place is pretty straight forward in how it's designed and what it has to offer. If you don't have pets, then this place might be good for you. Overall, it was okay for 2 nights, but no more than that.
Nice wide sites for your RV. This park is located in the forest area of Show Low, AZ. At this time, the amenities (due to COVID 19), except for the laundry room, are closed so was unable to give it a 5 star rating. Location is central to everything. In fact, we rode our eBikes to get to just about everything. Temps are warm in June and then cool down significantly after the Monsoon rains begin. Nice people in the park. Nice dog park and dog run.
Second stay here also last minute and staff was friendly and accomodating :) Had option of dry camp & were very close to restroom. It was quiet, plenty of spaces available. Walked dogs late night, some stickers in places on the margins so beware for your pet. Bathrooms clean, did not use shower, did not use laundry. There is a nice-sized off-leash dog area. Did not notice noise from I-40. Did hear train whistles in far distance (pleasant). I'm sure we'll stay here again passing thru AZ. It's also convenient to Petrified Forest NP.
We stayed a couple night at this camp ground. It was clean and had easy pull through sites. It was not crowded at all and they were good with spreading everyone one for privacy. They had a nice dog area and petrified wood on site to look at.
The lady who check us in was so nice.
This was just a short drive from the Petrified National forest which had various overlooks and short hikes. The forest was also pet friendly.
I would stay here again.
AT&T was spotty in the area.
South of Woodruff, Arizona on a good dirt road. Pull off just before or just after the historic bridge over the little Colorado River, part of original route 66! Enjoy the interesting rock, formations, canyon and seasonal waterfall! There is a trailhead nearby, and excellent rock hunting with large chunks of rainbow Jasper, including petrified wood. Some local traffic, and no T-Mobile or any other services.
This is really a Park Model Resort that has about 25% of their sites set aside for RVs. The RV sites are scattered throughout the park but they have tried to group them together as much as possible. The sites are pretty level, really wide, and fairly deep. There is a concrete patio with each site. Sites are covered in cinders which are a bit of a pain. They present a somewhat soft surface which is like walking in about 6 inches of soft sand. Almost all the sites have a tree planted right at the front next to the road. Some of the trees are a bit wide which really makes getting into the site difficult. Even though the sites are wide the RV parking area is between the patio and the sewer connection which is about 11ft wide. When you combine that with landscaping and patio covers on some of the park models and getting in some sites can be real challenging for a larger rig. We have a 40ft motorhome and have been to this park probably 8 times. So far we have made it in and out but with some new scratches and a bit of maneuvering. Cell service is pretty bad here. We have Verizon cell phones which usually worked for phone service but sometimes cut out. We have Verizon and AT&T hotspots. AT&T worked the best but not fast enough to stream anything most of the time. There is Wi-Fi offered for a fee but we have not tried that. They also offer cable TV which I believe is free. They have a couple of dog parks, nice common areas, laundry, and a small gym. They have some other clubs and activity rooms but all of those have been closed due to Covid.
I love the setup of this park! Spacious gravel sites and very friendly staff. Laundry, pet park, and onsite bathrooms. Good water pressure and multiple tubes for making dumping your tanks easy!
All gravel, some trees but they are out of the way. Staff was very friendly and helpful in getting to our spot. They have a pet area , laundry room and restroom/ showers.
