Stunning park

There are 8 spots. We chose 1. 2/3 have a light on a pole close. 4-8 all super spots. It’s like a private resort once the gates close at 8. There is a playground, horseshoes, volleyball court, shelter with electricity, creek, drinking water spigot, nice outhouse potty. We saw rattlesnakes which was a plus for me. Caretakers are lovely. We rode our motorcycles here no problem. This is the most beautiful park I’ve ever stayed in . Stunning red rock cliffs and creek under a natural bridge. OH fairys too, and lots of bunnies. Oscar the Grouch trash cans. Clean, adorable, breathtaking camp.

Can’t believe this is free

A full campground with spots, tables, trash, pit toilets, and water spigot all free. Gate is open 8am to 8pm, despite what it says online there are no reservations, just first come first serve. I called to check availability, but we were one of the only cars there a Monday night in June.

Absolutely stunning

As we traveled up the road toward the park we were able to see tons of antelope and a herd of Buffalo. As we got closer we passed through beautiful formations. We were surprised to see signs that pets were not allowed in the park making it that we weren’t going to be able to camp. We loved the beauty of this park. It would have been amazing to camp by the river and bridge. As we were exploring we found little gnomes and fairies scattered throughout tree stump. So cute. There are number ours areas for kids to play, vault toilets, picnic shelters and benches, and grills. If you are equipped to primitive camping stay here. All I have to say is WOW.

Natural Bridge Seen through Your Tent "Window"

Lovely campground beside a large natural arch in rural Wyoming. Not only can you pitch your tent with this impressive geological formation as your view, but the North Platte River runs underneath the arch and right up against the campground. There's a short hiking trail that leaves from the campground and brings you up on top of the arch, giving you a better view of the river, an old power plant, and the surrounding red rock.

Campground is free but there's a three day limit. Check in with the campground host/park manager at the office across from the campground to check in. Really friendly folks and well-maintained park overall.
