This free backcountry campground requires wilderness permits from the North Cascades Wilderness Information Center and mandates bear canisters for all food storage. Three small, primitive sites sit near a creek with a privy but no fire pits or designated cooking areas. Access involves a rough, slippery trail from the Cascade Pass parking lot, making this spot challenging to reach. The no-pets policy applies throughout the area. Campers can explore other campgrounds just outside North Cascades National Park for different amenities and access levels.
