Heritage Grove Campground offers more primitive cabin accommodations with shared facilities. Firewood is available for purchase at several locations, though availability varies seasonally. While most cabins include fire pits, some locations restrict open flames during high fire danger periods.

      Springville / Provo KOA Holiday

      Perfect getaway spot

This place has it all. Clean bathrooms, hot showers, washers n dryers, basketball court, playground, fenced in dog park, a clubhouse building that has arcade games, pool tables, full kitchen, skee ball, dart boards, recliners so comfy you won't wanna get up, all set up around a huge tv screen similar to being at a movie theater, BOWLING, yes bowling, an outdoor swimming pool, awesome friendly happy helpful staff and matience, green sites with power water sewer, pull thru and back in sites, picnic tables, BBQ grills, very family friendly there! And they seem to do cute things throughout the week inviting everyone to join, like free hotdogs and hangout at main pavilion, movie nights, game nights, like they actually care about you as people and not just a payment! Its a nice park for sure!

Oasis Campground — Yuba State Park

      Great Weekend Getaway

Awesome first camp of the year. Booked as soon as the state parks opened back up. Place really gave that “middle of nowhere feel”, lake and surrounding area were beautiful. Campsites were simple and bathrooms were nice. Only issue we had was we accidentally booked a site without electric. Could’ve been more clear on website, but also likely a rookie mistake being our first camp in Utah

Oasis Campground — Yuba State Park

      Much nicer than beach camping

The campground is spacious, has showers, running water bathrooms, fire pits, cement pads and pavilions. Great place to camp- much better than being on the beach- due to the wind! Yuba beach is always windy and the oasis campground gives some reprieve

      Castle Gate RV Park

      Tranquil!

Beautiful RV Park!! Friendly service! Escorted to our Site# 201 which backed up to the Price River. Site was super level for us. Great space between neighbors on our side of the park. There is a picnic table. However, we took our chairs down to the river bank each evening. So tranquil and relaxing! Laundry room is nice and all machines were in working order. We did not use the restrooms but took a peek in and they are all clean and look new. Beautiful mountain scenery as well. AT&T, T-Mobile Cell Service were excellent. No issues with their WiFI. So many cable channels! If there was one Con, it was that the dog park/run area was muddy. Looks like they are watering the area to maybe get more grass to grow. However, there are plenty of other grassy spots with Dog Waste Stations and bags to walk your dog. Street traffic noise can be heard. We do have a white noise machine and it did not interrupt our sleep. Enjoyed our relaxing stay here! Highly recommend!

      Orange Olsen

      Great cabins for the cost.

I really want to give a poor review so no one else will take my future reservations.  However, they really are in a great location and easily accessible.  The Dwelling is large enough to hold a really big family or two couples with small children.  The cabin is pretty small but large enough for a family of four.  Both have showers, toilet, with running water.  The lake is about a mile down the road. The nearest open boat dock is on the other side of the lake (~3 miles).  The ATV trails are endless and right out the driveway is access to Skyline Drive AKA God's Country.  Fishing is good at Joe's spring and fall. Summer time is better for swimming and wake boarding.  The smaller lakes and ponds are better suited for summertime fishing.  Luckily the are short drives.  Not much of a rock climber but I know the only reason my in-laws come is to go drag themselves up a rock while I wet a fly.  Overall a pretty laid back place to spend a few days relaxing.

      Castle Gate RV Park

      Very nice park

I travel in either a van or a fifth wheel and would be happy to bring with one to this lovely park! It has lovely amenities, nice spaces and quite the view. I think it’s new. The private restrooms are better than home! A nice big shower, toilet and sink, a chair, hooks and nicely lit. They have convenient lights over the door on the outside of the of the building. Red is occupied, green is available. The laundry facility is new, clean and comfy; it’s right off the office and mini store. Speaking of the office, the staff are kind and helpful. The grounds are spotless and a river runs next to the park. The only drawback could be the railroad tracks nearby, but I love trains and they went by slowly and infrequently.

      Castle Gate RV Park

      Nice site

This site is nice. It's not over the top in any way. It's right by the main road to get here and also by a train track. There is a river flowing by it with a small and short trail but that's about it. The wifi is great and the water pressure is great. The cable is also pretty good. The site we were in is narrow. Literally the size of our travel trailer but you get a decent area for hanging out under the awning and picnic table. There's enough to space to fit our truck between our RV and picnic table (for reference).

There is a splash area for the kids to beat the heat and a place to play horseshoe.

Oasis Campground — Yuba State Park

      Nice facilities, well-maintained

Spent a night here. Nice facilities, with covered picnic tables at each RV spot, water, and most with electric. Nearby dump station. Some grass and green areas for dogs. Adequate shower facilities. Pretty scenery, and several miles away from the interstate so very quiet. There was an algae bloom that made lake hazardous, so we kept dogs away from the water.

    Guide to Mount Pleasant

Cabin camping near Mount Pleasant, Utah provides access to Sanpete Valley's mix of desert and alpine environments at elevations between 5,500 and 9,000 feet. Summer temperatures typically range from 50-90°F with cool evenings, while winter brings snow and temperatures below freezing. Many rental cabins serve as base camps for exploring nearby Manti-La Sal National Forest trails and reservoir recreation.

    What to do

Fishing at multiple reservoirs: Palisade State Park Campground offers cabin accommodations within walking distance of good fishing spots. "Great rec area including a playground. Bathrooms well maintained and pedal boat and other boat rentals. Plenty of fish to catch off the shore or in a boat," notes Matt L.

Mountain biking nearby trails: Castle Gate RV Park provides cabin access with clean facilities for post-ride comfort. Aaron reports, "Stayed here a weekend to get in some mountain biking in nearby Price. Everything in the park is immaculate, and very well maintained. We found a new favorite place to avoid some of the Moab crowd."

Hiking forest service trails: The Wind Walker Homestead cabins offer proximity to multiple trail systems in Manti-La Sal National Forest, with most trails accessible within a 15-minute drive. Routes range from easy 1-mile loops to challenging 8-mile summit trails with significant elevation gain.

    What campers like

Peaceful riverside settings: Visitors appreciate the natural water features at several cabin locations. At Castle Gate RV Park, Jody J. shares, "Escorted to our Site #201 which backed up to the Price River. We took our chairs down to the river bank each evening. So tranquil and relaxing!"

Family-friendly amenities: Pleasant Creek Ranch Camperworld (Manti - La Sal KOA) receives praise for its recreational options. "Clean restrooms and showers. Great swimming pool. Beautiful camp sites. Easy to find. Quick drive to small town eats and even a drive inn movie theater," writes Curtis H.

Proximity to ATV trails: Orange Olsen cabin rentals provide direct access to popular routes. Steven G. explains, "The ATV trails are endless and right out the driveway is access to Skyline Drive AKA God's Country. The lake is about a mile down the road. The nearest open boat dock is on the other side of the lake (~3 miles)."

    What you should know

Summer reservation requirements: During peak season (June-August), cabin rentals fill quickly, especially at Palisade State Park Campground. Madison G. warns, "If you're looking for solitude, drive up a canyon road and skip Palisade State Park. It's loud and busy most days of the week in the summer."

Winter accessibility challenges: Many forest service cabins become inaccessible during winter months due to snow cover on access roads. Plowed access typically maintains year-round availability for cabins at KOA locations and some RV parks.

Varying utilities among cabins: Heritage Grove Campground cabins offer more rustic accommodations with shared facilities. Rayna D. shares, "Had very clean restrooms and showers. Lots of amenities like a playground and volleyball net. Campgrounds face the main area where cars drive so they're not very private."

    Tips for camping with families

Cabin size considerations: When booking cabins for families, check space limitations. At Orange Olsen, Steven G. advises, "The Dwelling is large enough to hold a really big family or two couples with small children. The cabin is pretty small but large enough for a family of four."

Swimming options: Yuba State Park's Oasis Campground offers cabin accommodations near water recreation. Alicia F. notes, "There is a lot to do including camping, swimming on the beaches, and water is warm. The campground is about 25 miles south of Nephi."

Playgrounds and recreational areas: Several cabin locations include child-friendly amenities. Brittley A. comments about Palisade State Park, "We've been coming here for several years now, and it hasn't disappointed! It is a simple yet adventurous place to hang out and stay a few nights at! We really love the lake and all the little trails we could mountain bike on!"

    Tips from RVers

Accessibility for large vehicles: Springville/Provo KOA Holiday offers cabin options with RV-friendly infrastructure. Pete M. reports, "Easy on/off from I-15. Clean spots and level pads. Registration was very easy."

Cabin alternatives during RV maintenance: Many travelers use cabin rentals when their RVs need service. Several locations within 30 miles of Mount Pleasant offer both cabin and RV sites, allowing flexibility for travelers.

Full hookup availability: Castle Gate RV Park cabins include access to RV services. Michael C. explains, "Their water pressure is outstanding in fact they recommend a pressure regulator on the supply line. The park WiFi was beyond excellent."
