Beautiful but overgrown

Went a few days before Memorial Day weekend. Was possible they were waiting to mow until right before the weekend but the grass even around the campsites was about 8-10 inches and over a foot the rest of the way near the bathrooms. The bathrooms were ok, stocked, I wouldn’t say clean, and the covered picnic spots did not have their roofs on yet so if you wanted shade you had to provide your own via tarp. The views were beautiful and everyone was super nice, it’s gated as well so it felt very safe there. Beware if you have long haired furry friends there are a TON of sand burrs and you’ll spend quite a bit of time picking them out even if they barely touch grass they seem to be everywhere. Overall very peaceful and I’m grateful to have found this spot in a pinch.
