Clean Quiet Safe Friendly

Pulled in late evening twilight. Nestled in a hill pocket. Unassuming looks but what matters is the vibe and amenities for the price. New owners. Sites are tidy. Full and partial hookups. Sewer dump. Shining star is the bathroom and shower house. Clean. Updated and hot hot water if you like a nice…

Incredibly beautiful right near the lake.

The most beautiful & colorful water rocks I've ever seen. Camp spots are kind of close but you don't really see your neighbors too much. Wonderful Ranger Talk in the amphitheatre. We had to leave early due to fires (summer of 2018). Cannot wait to return. Great restaurant & gift shop!!

Nice KOA with Great Views

This is one our our families most memorable campgrounds that we have stayed at due to the view of Glacier National Park.

The campground was clean and well cared for and well run. We had a back-in full-hookup site that faced the mountains. The only negative was, we were right next to the main…

Can’t beat waking up to these views

Be ready to come early and wait in line to grab a campsite. After 9-10am, except most sites to be full.

We got lucky and had a hard sided sprinter van. Rest of campground was evacuated with an overly aggressive black bear. BRING BEAR SPRAY, especially in August.

This was my second trip to…

Quiet and low key

Compared to other campgrounds in Glacier, Two Med is quiet and low key. Definitely more of a chill vibe, read: no one here was partying loudly. We stayed in a reserved site that is designated back country as we finished a back country trip with the last night at Two Medicine, where we parked our…

Loud but has trees.

We were roasting in the throws of Hades down at St. Mary's campground so decided to get up early and get a FCFS spot at Rising Sun, as none are reserveable (pre-covid). This campground is has trees and shade.  I arrived at 6:50am, and the car line to get on a list to put your name on a camp list…

HOT. Blazing. Did I say Hot?

We stayed at St. Mary's for 1 night, then got up early the next day and found a spot with a tree at Rising sun. Many of the tent sites at St. Mary's are out in the OPEN prairie and so very blazing hot in July and August. Remember the sun doesn't set up here until 10pm. Our neighbors washed dishes…

Close to town

Best of both worlds. Close to town but also get the camping experience. Great fishing and plenty of room for everyone. Great hosts

Crowded but very nice

We were in a large group and had a group site but it wasn’t the biggest. It was still very fun. The pool was nice and the hot tub felt amazing.

Beautiful and Clean

Amazing views, great campsites, and clean facilities. Just be careful to drive extremely slow... We got in a bit of trouble for going 20 mph (speed limit's 10)... Oops

Awesome campground right by Glacier NP

Loved this campground. Great amenities. Loved the pool/hot tub. Nice big site with electric/water. Tent camped and the bathrooms clean and close by. Amazing store and they even delivered pizza right to our site. Pancake breakfast was wonderful.

A decent place to stop over on your trip to or return from Canada

My wife and I stopped at Lake Shel-Oole Campground on our trip to Canada this summer (July 3rd). The campground is a bit dilapidated, but had several spots available that were easy to pull into. Some sites were pull through and others were back in. Most sites have at least electric and some are…

Just okay

Honestly, I probably will not stay on this side of the park when I return to Glacier. The campsites were very rocky and uneven. There were pads for tents but unless you have a very small tent, it's not going to fit. Add to that, the area is very exposed to winds and dramatic weather changes. The…

Did the job

Having stayed at the West glacier KOA the night before, this was a bit of a let down. We were in a tent site. It was very unclear where we were supposed to park. There was a pool that was clean and a picnic shelter that served pancakes in the morning.

Great location and reasonably priced!

This is a well loved for family owned campground. We stayed in the tent camping area and felt like it gave great privacy vs. the typical rows of RVs. There is tons of shade in the tent camping areas were as the RVs were more in the open but have the opportunity to have gorgeous distant lake views.…
