Accessible Site in Great Condition

The drive on Boulder Rd to this campground can be a little slow but it is worth it. This campground is just before the road gets really rough and might require 4x4. A number of trailers and RV's were at the campground when I visited. There are pit toilets and all site features (fire rings, parking spots, etc.) are in really great shape! The site I stayed on was along the river and that was really a treat. Walking or short driving distance to a number of trail heads and about an hour or so South of Natural Bridge on Boulder Rd, a really neat feature to visit if you haven't before. There are many camp spots leading up to and beyond this campground, so you're likely to find something to suit your fancy.

A lovely Forest Service campground with many sites by the river

An excellent campground near the end of the drivable section of the Boulder Road. Good fishing right from the campground and a trailhead across the street and another two a mile up the road. There are good fire rings, picnic tables, vault toilets and bear boxes. If the campground is full, there are some dispersed campsites about a half mile south on the right.
