Riverside Bliss

This is our near-home favorite campground.  Whitewater kayaking on the Saint Francis River anytime the paddle gage on old bridge is greater than 0.  Also gage can be found on missouriwhitewater.com.  This campground doesn't have a lot of amenities, but makes up for it in beauty all around the…

Nice and affordable

This is a nice little campground located in the Mark Twain National Forest. The St. Francis River runs behind the camp loop and the boat launch is walking distance, with room to splash around and fish. We were in site 8. The sites have a bit of breathing room between them. There were tent campers…
