This this is a great camping area overlooking the Ohio River. The sunrise in the sunsets are absolutely beautiful over the river as they outline the bridge stretching across the river. There is not a lot of barge traffic.

The the campground area here is very small. There is no running water. There is one bathroom. It is secluded and nice to just get away, but each campsite is very close to each other so there is not a lot of privacy. It is usually not very busy though. It is a good area for fishing, kayaking or canoeing. It is a no-wake lake.

This this is a very peaceful Campground. A couple of the sites Overlook the river. The facilities are very nice. If you are looking for a hike it is a great place.

I I absolutely loved this Campground. It is a very clean park, very spacious camping areas. It has a amazing group area with fire pits and grills. The hiking is amazing. The swimming is absolutely wonderful. The couple that takes care of the park are super friendly great people. You are only 10 minutes from a town in case you have forgotten something, but the park seems secluded. There is no running water for showers, but the bathroom houses are quite large and kept very clean. They do not smell like an outhouse.
